when i left work 3 hours ago i was pretty hacked off with the way the forecasts were moving. however checking this thread out in the comfort of my own home, i'm thinking.....its not going to rain, & if it does....feck it i'll have a super time nonetheless! this attitude may be influenced, however, by the 3 cans of 1664 i've just put away

2005 was insane - absolute oppresive scorchio on wed and thurs thn biblical flood - the place changed overnight

2007 the rain was like winter rain, slow and persistent - not very pleasant esp on sunday/ monday. It was quite funny when it threw it down so hard on the friday though - just seemed to catch everone off guard

2007 was a real experience, I'm not sure I'd ever want to do it again, but I'm glad I've been through it - and I had a great year that year - great camp spirit

This year seems more like a tropical forecast than wintery - humid with showers - which will be interesing....

Like I say every year though I have gone to at least one festival every year since 2001, and it has never not rained, wherever I go, sometimes it has been a small amount, others more.

I'm going to glasto this year, so it will rain, a 100% success rate so far - my advice, bring wellies and dance in mud ;)

it might even just shower overnight and then the ground will be fine again by the time most people get up and about - surely they cant tell what time its going to rain on Friday, sat or sunday yet.

Im still feeling confident. can feel the poss of a few showers but think it's going to be minimal. still taking the wellies but think its going to be fine.

2007 was possibly the worst experience of my entire festival going life. I was camped in the wrong place, the mud was all in my tent, I lost my wellies in sinking mud, my beer got nicked (what a wicked thing to do on a muddy year! grr) 2 drunks fell on my tent due to drink and getting sucked down knee deep in the mud and when they fell they squashed me, also breaking my tent and then I discovered I was allergic to Chilli, anaphylactic shock was not a good thing to come down with whilst up to my neck in mud. God bless the medical crew!
