The lastest GFS run, 18z, is quite different. It brings the main bulk of the heavy showers to Friday, with only a few light ones on Sat and mostly dry on Sun.

No offence but are you having a laugh?!? The rainfall for Fri/Sat would turn the place into a mudbath! Please don't let this turn out to be true, I was sooooo looking forward to being able to sit down!

Roughly the amounts predicted are:

Thursday 6mm

Friday 14mm

Saturday 4mm

Sunday 1mm

In the form of showers.

It'll be alright if they are not too heavy or long - if the sun comes out between showers and it's hot then it will dry up hopefully before much mud starts to appear.

My last batch of posts before internet goes bye-bye....

We've still really got no clear idea on what the weather might do, as all the sites are still changing their predictions on more than a daily basis...

I'm taking a waterproof, but no more.

Rain will be minimal compared to the warm sunny weather, so most of preparations will be for hot weather. It's all done and dusted now... Let's just get there and see how it turns out... It won't be as bad as 2007...

I'd agree. My best festivals have been in the sun. A seriously wet one this year and I wont be too upset that I have to miss next years festival
