I'm there. No question. Preying there is camping. My guess is there will be as it's not like the robbie gigs. There was due to be camping at a ministry of sound event there years ago and it got pulled because of foot and mouth so shows camping has been arranged there before.

Did someone on here say they had confirmed camping. The logistics of not having camping would be a nightmare!! Fingers crossed.

Right the homepage is

http://www.sonispherefestivals.com/

then if you put say

http://www.sonispherefestivals.com/lineup/metallica

the IE bar will say line up - Metallica

thus proving thats there a page for the artist is just hasn't been activated to be seen by the public

If however you type in for example

http://www.sonispherefestivals.com/lineup/greenday

it will just say sonsiphere, and nothing about the artist in the IE bar

Are we sure that the camping applies to Knebworth?

If the site is a general site for all countries then maybe the ones abroad have camping but not us?

Knebworth hasn't had camping before to my knowledge, even back in the day when it was a rock festival venue.

yeah, still unsure about camping at Knebworth, they might have bought up some land or something. My mate is from Welwyn... a few miles from there & went to wild in the country (when it was on). I'd ask him about it, but its pretty pointless now considering there's 80 minutes to the announcement lol.

Speaking of which,

I tell you what'd be funny, If we all sat glued to our screens, sipping coffee, speed typing on here, waiting 'till 12, only to find that the countdown was only to when they gave us a date for an announcement.

:D

I am not aware of any land being bought up as such for camping. They do really look after the place, hence why I would be really surprised if it happened ... they COULD have camping, will have to wait and see.

    • Maybe hopeful but get Knocked Loose on the Sunday opposite the legend. Similar to the slot Turnstile had in 2022. Would be absolutely phenomenal.
    • One of my personal favourite bands at the minute - MUNA. Was very surprised not to see them booked in 2023 with their last album but hopefully they'll be around next year. Very fun new album from these guys and, as aforementioned, another standout for me at Big Weekend.
    • Absolutely second this. Were great at Big Weekend and already have a great catalogue of songs forming so far. Would love to see them on the farm!
    • A mixed first day for us. First of all, we were honestly quite shocked that there was no security check at all at the VIP entrance around 7:30 PM. No bag check, nothing. I’ve attended Primavera many times over the years and this felt surprisingly lax for an event of this size. Did anyone else experience the same?   Another disappointment was the communication regarding the weather situation. Primavera has some of the best sound systems and speaker setups in the festival world, yet somehow they were not able to make a single clear announcement explaining what was happening. Instead, people were expected to read tiny messages on screens in Mordor while thousands were left wondering what was going on. A simple and direct audio announcement would have gone a long way.   On a lighter note, this guy absolutely made my day. Sitting right in front of the Estrella Damm terrace, wearing nothing but a long-sleeve shirt, jeans and a pair of Converse All Stars, he remained completely unbothered by the rain. While everyone else was looking for shelter, he sat there wearing sunglasses, calmly watching the crowd as if he was watching a movie.   Absolute main character energy!
    • I think my party got pretty lucky last night, at least compared to some of the horror stories over on Reddit. I was very impressed with Father John Misty in particular.   Perhaps my view would be different if I were a big Massive Attack fan or whatever, but right now my feeling is that if it's not safe for the shows to go ahead... then it's not safe for the shows to go ahead. I'd much rather they were cautious than roll the dice when it comes to something like that.    Here's hoping everyone has a better day today.
