I love those. 100% on the money with absolutely everything he says.

What bugs me slightly is that because it's about Star Wars, it puts (ignorant) people off watching or listening to these reviews, but their relevance extends to film-making on the whole. I see the red letter series as really good tutorials on how to sharpen your critical eye and how to recognise a good movie from a bad one. The Star Wars prequels just seem to provide countless examples of bad movie-making; their educational value at least makes up for their lack of artistic merit.

If more people watched these then we may see a more discerning audience and we'd see less of those terrible Transformers movies that's for sure.

Lucas is f**king with it again. Hes made a f**king balls of the Bluray release.

At the end of Jedi, Vader now says "NOOOOOO" (like at the end of the Revenge of the Sith <_< ) when he picks the Emperor up and lobs him down the reactor shaft.

The whole f**king beauty of the scene is the silence from Vader and Williams music soaring in the background as Vader picks The Emperor up....

You f**king arsehole Lucas.

Original.

Funny how when Ridley Scott makes changes to Bladerunner it's all about how he wants it to fit his original vision, but when Lucas changes Star Wars 4 - 6, it's deemed as f**king around with it.

Bladerunner isn't the same league as Star Wars though.

Also, if one was to be so cynical, the constant changes from Lucas stink of forcing "completion sales" from Star Wars nerds.

    • Morocco are a good side, know what it takes in tournaments. Semi final last world cup, AFCON winners (kind off). No one should under estimate Morocco, I think they will win the group and get to the quarters minimum.
    • Came to the same decision after age 40. I'm lucky enough now to be able to manage on only 4 days work, in a job that does not expect me to do more than my contracted hours.
    • Looking like it will be beautiful weather at the end of June. Long hot summer predicted by various places including our favourite netweather nerds. Let's hope we get a repeat this time next year. 🌞
    • Just finished Spider Noir which was far better than I expected it was going to be. Nic Cage clearly having a ball chewing up the scenery and the most Irish Brendon Gleeson you have ever seen. Watch in authentic black and white only for the best experience.
    • After realising that I couldn't remember how season 4 ended I decided to rewatch the whole lot. I stopped after 4 episodes of S4 to watch Gen V season 1 as there is quite a bit of crossover then finished S4 before Gen V Season 2. Finished off with S5 of The Boys and I was a little disappointed. I still enjoyed it and they did well to wrap everything up but the inexplicable lack of budget for the final season really stood out for me.
