f**k me it's good. Why haven't I watched this before?

Watched a few odd episodes when it first came out on C4 but lost track....Just got the first season; bout 6 episodes in, and it's cracking.

I'm now very much enjoying Carnivale. I love the surrealism in it. I can't actually think of a HBO series I've not enjoyed. Anyone?

Carnivale's great aswell....slight warning that it did get cut after two seasons so finishes unresolved, but it's well worth watching.

That tends to happen with American television, doesn't it? Deadwood was the same. Rome finished about twenty years of history in three episodes .... Firefly was very annoying.

Yeah, does. The Wire was under pressure of being axed viewing figures wise but they had confidence enough to continue it.

Didn't actually mind Deadwood's ending; enough closure imo. Similar with Twin Peaks really...

Still to watch Firefly and Rome.
