Rob Da Bank has confirmed today that The Cure are most certainly not playing Bestival this year. Mind you he said that about The Specials last year didn't he ?

They were the most widely tipped band to play, basically because Rob Da Bank has been chasing them for months, but it's not happening this year (He's still got them on his list for next year)

Camp Bestival announcement in a couple of weeks apparently, and Bestival announcement in February.
