I like to keep my ear to the ground with these things. Also when I met black tide the guys said they would love to come back and do download and they are only touring up until mid april....so maybe them too. Lovely bunch of lads....thanks Zac and Gabriel for big upping our headbang crew!

Wouldn't surprise me with Nickelback, I'd watch them, Photograph has really grew on me, really like it as a nice just woke up, ease me into the day song, as they play it on Kerrang radio's breakfast show most mornings

Saying this though, they haven't been announced for any other European festivals at all as of yet

but Heaven and Hell that low? That just seems strange

I'd love Faith No More, Rammstein or Rage Against The Machine, although I think - if it's going to be a 'surprise' - it'll be Nickelback.

I suspect it'll be Marilyn Manson. It just seems likely. Having said that, I thought Limp Bizkit would do it. Pleasant surprise Download didn't settle for them as headliners, so fingers crossed, much as I love Manson, there's someone a bit bigger in the wings.

Id love Rage or Guns and Roses as Friday headliner myself

But I reckon it will be Nickelback

I'd be shocked if we got another announcement already tomorrow?

Surely it will be another week at least unless its just a couple of smaller names

Killswitch Engage maybe announced tomorrow?

I see Placebo are headlining Rockness on Sundayand Biffy Clyro playing that day too, maybe Placebo & Biffy for Friday night?

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
