Another hand in the air for the Earthheart Cafe!

It actually became an unofficial meeting point for me and some friends at Glasto - not planned, just by chance. It just seemed to be in tune with where we were when we decided we wanted to meet up.

Also where I was when I found out Jacko died.

How irrelevant...

Well, we will insist on hanging out in the same field at the same point in space and time...

Sorry, I'm being somewhat leery, which you clearly don't deserve, but what can I say, my local Morrisons sells festy strength Brothers, today; and I'm off work, tomorrow! ;)

Are you going to Alchemy?

What's the deal on ale going to be for Alchemy? Will there be a bar stroke pub affair? Is it bring your own? Is it likely to be a cider focussed event?

I know the Bull Inn at South Kelsey can serve a nice pint but it could prove a bit of a trek with a plastic glass...

Sorry, I know there's 3 weeks yet but I'm already getting a bit excited. :D

Is that where we all sit round in a circle and stand up one at a time looking sheepish:

"My name's Dave, and I'm excited."

(applause and all round nods of agreement)

The Jolly Brewer's website has claims of real ale and handpulled cider - Tis shaping up to be a good weekend!

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
