Saw Totoro at the Barbican a few weeks ago, that was amazing. I agree that the Sunday morning pyramid spot would be great for a musical - maybe not a full production, but a selection of songs. I'm sure they've had things like opera and ballet there, so why not a Lin-Manuel Miranda greatest hits set?

I think I know as many Roxy songs as I do Dolly songs (Virginia plain, do the strand and jealous guy - I know it's a cover, vs Jolene, 9 to 5 and that Whitney one). At least Roxy shouldn't be miming!

I got national express in 2016, and a couple of lads had a massive trolley of beers. The driver was about to leave it behind, but it ended up being put in the aisle (so everyone in the back half of the coach had to climb over it to get to the loo or the door). Not ideal with the weather/traffic problems that year, we were on that coach for a looong time.

System couldn't cope in 04, was beefed up in 05 so it didn't just shit the bed. 08/09 credit crunch. Lots of people affected, plus the washouts in 05 and 07 probably didn't help. 2017 is the longest in recent years, presumably due to the weather in 16 (and maybe Brexit starting to hit the economy?). Or because they bought in the 60 refreshes per min restriction and people who used to just mash f5 were getting locked out.

I've had this in the past with Halifax credit card, verified it and was told to wait 10 mins and try again (luckily that wasn't a time-sensitive purchase). Used starling for pulp tickets this morning, was straightforward - click on notification, click yes, payment went through.

Resale, so maybe they moved things round after the initial sale.

That might not be the case any more. I had a return that left Bristol at 9:30am this year. There were several coaches there, so maybe some were singles and some were returns.

Yep, we had this when we bought our flat. I think when you pay the balance you choose if you want to pay for all or some of the tickets. So if you team up with 2 other pairs for the sale, each couple can pay their balance/postage and just get their 2 tickets posted together. It's more of a problem in the resale, where you are paying the full price and getting them all posted together. Good luck!

I can't say how I'd feel from a parent's perspective as I don't have kids. But you said they were naive, not very smart, should've taken someone with them (but it's all Win's fault). This sounds just as much victim blaming as people who say things like "she shouldn't have worn that outfit - but it is the rapist's fault" or "she shouldn't have nagged him so much - but it is the murderer's fault".

Who's to blame? Oh, of course, it's the victims.
