  1. Have you got a screenshot or something? Not sure where they'd play though.
  2. Yeah, Latitude have recently been targeting Other stage headline or Pyramid sub level acts. E.g. Chemical Brothers, Liam Gallagher, George Ezra, Lana Del Rey. Florence headlining Latitude is a get, but I don't think she's Glasto sized.
  3. I think they could be a tent headliner, or a post headliner thing like Underworld. I don't think they're big enough to headline the Obelisk though.
  4. I commented on this at the time and then she replied in the Twitter comments and said she meant the first poster.
  5. My one hope this year is that the poster has stage and day splits, like 2019's poster. It was really annoying getting excited for some acts, not knowing what day or how high up on the stage they were going to play, so could only work out clashes about a week before the festival.
  6. Yeah. It's usually a few quid more, but I don't trust Latitude enough to buy tickets before the lineup. Just think it's a bit silly announcing that they're going on sale when they're already on sale.
  7. Aren't tickets already on sale?
  8. I like the black ones (olives) more. The green ones are alright, I'll eat them but if I'm serving myself I'll go for the black ones. The packets where they're in a salted oil dressing are addictive, especially the ones that come with little cubes of feta. Could eat loads of them. If we're getting into specifics, I prefer the olives when they're more of a purple colour compared to completely black.
  9. Where are you seeing this? Can't find anything on their twitter or anything.
  10. If LCD announce a date in Manchester that isn't over Glasto I'm gonna be so excited. Will be the first time seeing a band that's in my top three.
  11. I'd probably go something like this, with added comments and reasons: Friday: Happy Mondays (If I can be bothered turning up for the two songs I know, but don't even really like, depends on how tired I am) > The Big Moon > Wet Leg > Inhaler / Dry Cleaning / Olivia Rodrigo (will have seen Dry Cleaning and Inhaler so might go and see something I thinks alright but different for a change) > Celeste / Elbow (either someone I thinks ok, or a band that will create a Glastonbury moment, and have one other decent song) > Wolf Alice > Foals Saturday: Murder Capital > Goat Girl > Holly Humberstone > Squid > Snow Patrol (might catch the end on route to the Pyramid) > Noel vs The 1975 (toughest clash of the weekend, prefer '75 but want a good spot for Macca so probably go Noel, and my dad would quite like to see him) > Macca Sunday: Porridge Radio > Yard Act > Diana Ross > Lorde / Sam Fender / Florence (honestly don't have a preference between Lorde and SF, think both are good and have tickets to / have seen them multiple times, maybe Fender edges it, but if it was too hot / muddy I'd stay at the Pyramid, depends if Florence is at Latitude as well) > Courtney Barnett (don't know much about her, but what I've heard is alright and it looks like the best option) > Phoebe Bridgers > Editors (looking at their setlist, they end on a run of The Racing Rats > Munich > Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors, which would be great, as long as I could get in the tent) Looks like a pretty good weekend, just need it to be hot, but not too hot, and at the very least dry, so I don't have to be on my feet all day. Also need to checkout the late night stuff this year, went in 2019 and headed to the SE corner on the Friday night. I can remember like two things, must have spent a good 45 mins to an hour and can remember like a minute or two maximum. It would be cool to say that it was so great and I had the best time and can't remember what happened etc. But I was just exhausted and my brain just forgot to save memories or something. Will make sure to spend more time there this year, as the photos / videos of the different areas look great and there's loads of stuff to see and do, just need more hours in the day, or the ability to sleep for less hours without taking any substances. Bit rambly, but it's been a long couple of years and it's good to get excited for Glasto again, hopefully the posters out soon!
  12. Someone on the Glasto forums said that she's apparently releasing a single on Wednesday 23rd. If they've got her they'll probably announce as the hype around the new single builds and releases. Not sure why European festivals have been able to announce her if that's the case though.
  13. I think Shame will be there, maybe 3rd down park or something? They're supporting Foos on their tour and have conveniently missed a day over Glasto weekend. I think BCNR will be there, as they're being announced for some festivals. I'm hoping black midi will play a slot on the park over the weekend, think they're great and have got some dates round Glasto. Looks amazing though, will have to hope the weather's good so I can have a sit down between acts, otherwise I'd be on my feet all day dashing between stages.

    Foals

I'm not sure how I feel about Foals headlining the other. I've seen them twice, and have got tickets the week after Glasto. If they're the best option, I'll probably sell my tickets for Manchester. I think they're good, but there's ample opportunity to see them, so I'll be slightly underwhelmed if it's my Friday night choice. Although it will be a good party and not a bad first headliner back after 3 years.
  15. I really hope Alt-J aren't playing. It's not hard to see them this year, and they've already headlined twice.
  16. I'd put a quid on it not happening

    2022 Headliners

It's 2 minutes spent better than listening to it.

Love Me Do is definitely one to go the toilet during.

    2022 Headliners

I want fireworks to go off during Live and Let Die, the one from the Glasto 2004 video looks great. Hope he tailors the setlist to Glastonbury well, recent ones haven't been looking as good. A proper greatest hits would result in an all time headline set.

    2022 Headliners

I can also recommend that if your really not interested in a headliner, even if other people are saying it will be a cultural moment, an all time great set etc, don't bother going. We chose Jon Hopkins over Stormzy, partially so we could head to the SE corner early, and had a little bit of FOMO at the time (partially because it was our first Glasto headliner) even though I wasn't a big fan of his music, which was then elevated after hearing how much people enjoyed his set. But last year, I caught Stormzy's set at Leeds and it confirmed that a) I'm still not into his music, and b) The time I had at Jon Hopkins was way better than the time I probably would have at Stormzy. So moral of the story is, try and get into a headliners music, as a great pyramid headline set from an act you love is better than anything else. But if it's just not clicking, don't try and force it, even if everyone else thinks it's going to be great.

    2022 Headliners

Bold move to do 50/50 on sets. If your having a good time at one, I don't see much point in leaving to see something else. You could spend 15 minutes trying to get from one stage to another, only to be right at the back for the 2nd act. Even if the end of Macca is just as good of a time as you were having at Dua, you've still missed however long you spent getting between them. It's something I'd never do really, unless I was having an atrocious time somewhere, but I'd never plan it in advance. Will be interesting to see if you can make it work.

    2022 Headliners

They (The 1975) were rumoured for a secret set in 2020, and in my opinion, were one of the headliners for 2021 that Emily had "pencilled in". I think there's a good chance they'll play as a secret set this year.
  23. Have they headlined the other stage before? That was part of the info I think, which is why some people were ruling the act out of doing Glasto, as all the other headline slots are probably taken.
  24. I think there's a decent chance this could be referring to Latitude. Tim played solo last year and with The Charlatans in 2018, 3rd down Obelisk. Hope it's soon, I want to get excited for some names. The downside of going to Latitude and Glastonbury is that they're usually the last to announce. However, Y Not tweeted 15 minutes after Tim tweeted, saying that they're announcing names next week. So, I think it's likely that this was what he was referring to:
  25. There was also a deleted post on their reddit that said something along the lines of: New album on Friday 24th June called The Problem Attic and a secret set on the JP on Glasto Saturday.
