  1. Just had a mini heart attack when Billie self confirmed, then realised that she'd already been announced.
  2. Is that poster recent, didn't think BCNR would be back so early? If so I'd love to see the post punk trio of Black Midi, Squid and BCNR. Possibly all on the Park stage. Shame would also be great.
  3. Libertines stock has dropped over the past few years. They headlined Reading in 2015, and subbed Glasto, although they were meant to be 3rd down but still. I'm guessing their initial reunion was just hyped to absolute bits.

    Foals

They were against Swift, Fatboy Slim was against Kendrick.

    2022 Headliners

The dream of The Rolling Stones lives on, great replacement for Macca if he can't make it. The slight issue I have with Macca is that he doesn't play some of my favourite Beatles songs, while with the Stones, I can guarantee that most of my favourites would make the set.

    Radiohead 2022?

That's if you can manage to get a ticket. Most of their shows have been sold out for months. Been trying to get one for Manchester in April for a couple of months with no luck yet.
  7. 1. Yard Act - The Overload 2. Spector - Now Or Whenever 3. The Weeknd - Dawn FM
  8. Yeah, this was the one I was least confident about. Just thought of a guitar act who's big enough, is around that weekend, and would go down well with the demographic, and Sam Fender came to mind first.
  9. Yard Act are at Bluedot on Friday, Truck on Saturday, and Standon on Sunday. So they might be fully booked, but I'm hoping they stop over on the Sunday possibly. They've done 21 gigs in 7 days before so it wouldn't be completely unheard of.
  10. This feels just as underwhelming as Liam's "huge" announcement. But this time it was efestivals hyping up the announcement, rather than the one making it.
  11. Full lineup? The one that's usually released at the end of May? Or does she just mean the poster?
  12. Can't wait for Matt to tell us he told us so, whenever a headliner is announced, as he brings up a post 3 months ago of him being absolutely convinced they (and about 100 different headliners) were going to play.
  13. Yeah. I've just edited my post. It just doesn't seem like an obvious troll, as the account isn't completely new and has claimed links to Macca over 2 years ago so... I'm not sure. I'm probably getting desperate and turning into Matt.
  14. Just had a look at your previous posts. You were right about the 2020 headliners in Oct 2019... I think your ITK. Edit: just realised we probably already knew the headliners then, but still doesn't seem like a troll to me.
  15. Yes. As long as it's not Harry fucking Styles headlining. I'd rather no announcement.
  16. So Emily says a few weeks ago, "news coming soon", and then there's going to be "Glasto News" on Radio which they've previously announced on... and some people think it might just be talking about covid or ETC? C'mon, I think it's going to be more than that. I wouldn't lose my shit like Matt does, but I think it will be something more than things already announced / things we know already.

    Radiohead 2022?

I'm not sure, I've never paid. I just did a quick google search of "radiohead uk ticket price" and this is what came up. Can't seem to attach an image, but a section of this article comes up without clicking on it saying around £50 to £65. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/features/fans-pay-the-price-for-the-rising-cost-of-lavish-live-shows-7577970.html%3famp Just realised it's from 2012 so probably a bit outdated anyway.

    Radiohead 2022?

I mean, Radiohead charge a similar amount for their own gigs. Where you see them play for almost 2h and they've got an incredible catalogue. So charging the same for a band with two songs released, as well as a shorter setlist and everything, I think it's a bit much. I'd expect £35 if you look at the prices of other gigs held at the same venues.

    Radiohead 2022?

Cheeky. Annoyingly looks like their ruled out of Glasto, as I'd have tried to catch them there instead. I don't know if I'm willing to pay £55 to see them with only two songs released at the moment. I'm not really getting the extreme level of hype Radiohead fans seem to experience whenever they release anything ever. As well as being able to tell from one performance, that they're going to be the best thing that's happened to music in the next few years. While people are saying it's the best thing they've done since IR, I'm sitting here thinking it's pretty good, but not incredible at the moment. It took me a while to get their first one, but their second song was more instant for me and I'm a bigger fan of that one. I'll have a think about it, as Radiohead are my #1 of all time and I haven't been able to see them yet, so it could be pretty special.

    Radiohead 2022?

Anyone know ticket prices? I'm not paying £77 to see them in Manchester.
  21. I'd take this, I'd be at the Sounds tent every night though. I think we've ruled out Haim though. Not sure if they have the money to book Disclosure as a closing set, bearing in mind they're headlining Boardmasters and subbed Reading last year. I'm also convinced that King Gizzard will reclaim their 2020 headline slot on the Sounds tent. They have a nice gap in their schedule and no UK dates yet on a UK and EU tour. . I hope they're given more than an hour which seems to be the trend of the past few years. Because of the varied setlist, it could either be one of the greatest hours of music, or one that I find just ok. If they're given 1h30m I could be more certain that they'd be more of my favourite tracks in the setlist. Expecting news this week hopefully. I'll update my prediction and go with: Obelisk: Lewis Capaldi, Florence, Sam Fender Sounds: King Gizzard, Fontaines D.C., Arlo Parks
  22. If I recall correctly, I think @Charm was trying for an Oxfam volunteering place, although she hasn't logged on in a while so it's hard to know.
  23. Yeah it's odd. Their UK tour ends on the Thursday of Latitude which would usually mean their nailed on, but they've announced that they're supporting the RHCP's in America over the weekend. I definitely think they were booked and in the running, and then they decided they'd rather support the Chilli's.
  24. Arghhh! BCNR are my favourite band at the moment, this is terrible news. I wonder what's happened, hope he's alright. He sounded a lot more positive on the second album compared to the first, so I don't know what could have happened.
