  1. Can't wait for people to listen to the playlist on shuffle, something like Billie Eilish is playing, so they turn it up to hear the vocals more clearly, and then out of nowhere, black midi's "953" comes blasting out through their speakers.
  2. Yeah, I guess. But they've been pushed by their record label a lot to get where they are. Feels a bit of forced hype to me, but I do think they're good.
  3. They're being pushed by their record label a lot. Probably had conversations with the booking team specifically asking them to be put on the poster.
  4. I hope we get a more rock / guitar option on the Sunday this year. In 2020 it didn't look like we were going to get one on the top 5 stages. I know it's uncool to say I'd like to see a guitar option, but it's just my taste. I'd have loved Pheebs to close the Park on the Sunday, would have been awesome. Although the guitar option being someone like Primal Scream would be very underwhelming.
  5. I think Shame will be there, they're supporting Foos on their tour, but not supporting over Glasto weekend. Hope BCNR will be there in some form, looks like they've rolled over all their festival appearances from before Isaac left.
  6. I put unbelievable but I'd change it to very good. I'd rank the pasr few years best to worst as: 2016 2021 2019 2014 2017 2020 2015 So it's very good, but there's none that I'd lose my shit over such as: LCD, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Stones, Pulp, Blur etc. Although I think they've done a great job based on who's touring, hoping for some more good stuff lower down. Would really like to see Shame and BCNR on the Park. But from a first poster it's really good, even if some of the headliners aren't to my taste.
  7. I've been in a lesson all morning, so will have to catch up later, poster looks great on first couple of looks though!

    Radiohead 2022?

Did anyone else hear the short snippet of the studio version of The Same at the end of the livestream? It sounded fantastic.

    Radiohead 2022?

I've heard online that it's going to be Thin Thing. I don't know where I saw it, either on FB or Reddit, so I can't provide a source.
  10. I think it's really expensive for what it is. I know I've done about a million Glasto comparisons, but Latitude is getting up there in ticket price. It's £25 cheaper than big G, but with one less day and less music. It makes you wonder what all the money is being spent on. We're going to buy tickets, and have got the BC 10% off thing, but compared to other festivals that I'd consider, Green Man, Truck and Y Not it seems to be getting less and less value for money each year. I guess they're targeting the average middle class family demographic more and more, rather than the music fans. I think Truck is about £100 cheaper per ticket, which when your buying for a group amounts to a lot. I think Latitude is great, nice site and books some great undergrad, but it feels like the regular punters who are big music fans are being less and less priority each year. With general camping moving further and further away, lineup becoming less interesting, and the cost of tickets increasing. It's going to make regulars consider other options, if they haven't already done so.
  11. That really sucks. Hope they're at Glastonbury this year, I'd take a WH headline on the Sunday night. @endswithMJ I'm guessing this is who you were hinting at, do you know if there's other dates to come?
  12. Do you know if these are the only UK dates?
  13. Who would you go and see that you can't convince your mates to come with you?
  14. So they all like pop just as much as you then? Extremely diverse wouldn't be the words I'd use to describe those artists.
  15. I've never seen them before, and they're one of my all time favourites. So I don't really mind that it's a greatest hits tour, as they've got enough great tracks to fill a set.
  16. That could be after Glastonbury though, think some of the Castlefield gigs are in July. Would actually be great to see an eFests flag around the site. I wonder what the place your getting it made from thinks of the design.
  17. We need a residency at the Ritz in Manchester. Switch the disco ball for the eFests flag when no one's looking.
  18. Looks to be about £256. Have seen someone say £511.35 for two tickets.
  19. I thought people's enjoyment of Tribes was a joke, a bit like Pierce O'Brien. But it seems as if people actually quite like them, other than nostalgia, do people think they make good music? Not a dig at anyone, but intrigued why they keep getting mentioned on here.
  20. Had a look at previous years and how many acts played each stage compared to what has been announced so far. Obelisk: 2021: 21 (technically 22 if you include Bill Bailey) 2022: 20 Expect 1 more to be announced. Sounds: 2021: 24 (actually 22 if you factor in cancellations) 2022: 21 Expect 3 more to be announced. Sunrise: 2021: 27 (26 if cancellations are included) 2022: 16 Expect 11 more to be announced. So over the weekend, we've probably got 15 more acts over the top three stages. For any statistics fans, that's 57 of the 72 acts we'd usually see, so 79.2% of the lineup (over the top three stages) has been announced so far. Would be great to get the Lake Stage back this year, they always book some great alternative stuff, and I'd to see some smaller bands and artists on the Alcove. I emailed them a while ago asking about the return of the Lake Stage, they said they'd find out for me, but they never responded again. So if anyone knows anything about it coming back, please let me know, as I'd hate for it to be gone for good.
  21. Keep them coming if you want, I find it funny when eFests takes the piss out of a lineup that hasn't gone down well, which happens more often than not with Latitude. Reassures me that I'm not the only one in not being a fan of certain parts of the lineup.
  22. Looks like you've got the better taste if that's an LCD reference in your profile. I think the Wembley thing was tongue in cheek, think they're saying that they aren't relevant and haven't done things like release three hit singles and play Wembley.
