ol jim back at it. not even worth a downvote.

a few short bits of plank will be enough, most of the East camping is pretty flat, so you won't need to level too much, but it is nice to have a flat bed to sleep in.
-
yeah, I still use it to do pixel art 🙂

No, they are outside of the festival, so open to anyone 🙂 But note that if you are getting friends to visit you in your camper, they will need to go through the pass out stuff at the gates, so they need to keep hold of their ticket after they get wristbanded on first entry, as it's needed to get a pass out when they leave, which is then needed to get back in 🙂

And if you feel the need to step it up a abit and respray your car, RAL5015 is the closest, for when you're chatting to your paint guys. Or if you're doing some pixel art on your Atari or Amiga, it's moreor less 147 in 9bit RGB 🙂

Isn't that Queue sign an actual Banksy piece ?

I will attempt to overcome my 'meeting people in real life' anxiety and pop along 🙂

I was there, it was brilliant 🙂

you should just be able to turn right into the 'purple' lane marked on the map if you are coming down the A37 hill towards Blue

I'm imagining Common People in the style of Monkey Wrench and now I want it to happen 🙂

Agreed, this is the biggest issue. It's envionmentally awful that all the plastic and batteries are being binned, but the bigger issue is that the batteries are prone to self ignighting when crushed or punctured and being lithium based, are very hard to put out, so even a tiny battery can flare up hot enough to set fire to anything it's next to, i.e. a load of plastic in a rubbish compactor, or the back of a bin lorry etc. In an ideal utopian world, people would keep the empty ones, take them home, and dispose of them properly at recycling points, but well, you know.

hopefully nothing too changable happens and tent pegs will need more than that toffee hammer come festival opening time 🙂

yeah, one of their friends got them Maceos bands (presumably from Maceos)
-
Can confirm, last year - Friday afternoon me and a few buddies got in OK, they only had Maceos bands, but later (after 11pm ish, it's a bit blurry) it was one in, one out and Arcadia bands only.

Blimey, a very kind friend gave me an arcadia pass last year, I'll need to ply him with ciders and see if he can help this year too 🙂

this is the detail in the PDF I shared:

Got to be a double edged sword for Royal Blood though. One the one hand, they'll have a massive crowd for the start of their set On the other, they'll have to watch the crowd all leave during.

and not sure if this helps, but this is a recent map from the Mendip Council licenceing gubbins showing crew camping, but also lists stages etc: linked as the forum doesn't like PDF uploads: https://drive.google.com/file/d/16dQ40R0YNqTAdm76kQ5GGY-qXkAnvy0K/view?usp=sharing edit: permissions changed - anyone should be able to open this now 🙂

The festival licence does not allow the big stages to open before Friday, except for occasional sports stuff on the big screens.
