  1. God, you sound like a right laugh. Camp Bestival might not annoy so much. One of the very essential elements of Glastonbury for me and my mates is the freedom to do as many drugs as you like, wherever you like, whenever you like. Although I tend to sniff more ket than coke in the daytime, I don't see why anyone should have any qualms about people doing bumps of whatever at the stages, or indeed wherever they feel like it. There isn't meant to be many rules at a festival, if a person doing drugs near offends you then Glasotnbury is no longer for you.
  2. Hahaha, how utterly cringey. I knew someone who was with our group who was disturbed whilst taking a piss one night, he turned around knob still in hand, told them they were a bunch of f**king peeping tom's and pushed one of them over 😆
  3. 2 festivals that would be a good idea for folk who can't handle camping beside a group of teenagers doing drugs and having a good time, to consider going to instead next year.
  4. Since you stubbornly denied there was articles on the topic (very childish by the way), here is another recent one https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/culture/2023/jun/06/festivals-now-feel-like-a-cross-between-a-spa-and-a-gastropub-what-about-the-music
  5. Your abusive language doesn't do you any favours. Agree or not, it is a thing. There has been several articles recently in national newspapers about how the middle classes have ruined festivals, my advice is if they can't stand the heat at Glastonbury, then get out of the kitchen. It's always been a drug fueled, rowdy, messy festival, problem is this doesn't fit the narrative portrayed on the BBC that they see before buying up all the tickets to 'tick it off my bucket list'.
  6. Sounds like you couldnt handle other people having fun on Pennards Hill either. We made plenty of noise at all times when we were at camp, although admittedly stayed out all night then went straight to the stone circle every morning at 5am, but hopefully some of our noise from the bevy of minirigs and subs displeased you ☺️
  7. Doubt you could handle Pennards matey. You'd get too upset at people staying up late, mouth off at them, then get dealt with.

    COVID

In the morning's i tend to cough quite a lot due to the amount of fags i smoke the night before, in the queue for some food one morning some typical looking well to do girl looked at me like i was a some sort of leper because i coughed a bit near her. I wanted to tell her people have been coughing to clear their lungs for thousands of years prior to Covid 19 so stop being so dramatic, but instead i told her to get herself checked soon as there was a covid outbreak in my campsite, her face was a picture!
  9. Oh look, you can write swear words on the internet too! How daring of you. 🤭
  10. They are clearly more festival hardened than the OP. "Oh no, look at these scary teenage scousers! How terrible! One was even sick on my tent" 😆 Perhaps somewhere more pleasant and soft like Latitude might be the best option for them next year.
  11. Watch you language and stop replying to me calling me profanities. It doesn't make you cool, just makes you look silly.
  12. Boo hoo. This what happens when the middle classes go to Glastonbury, expecting it all to be flower garlands and polite people of their same ilk but end of camped beside a group of working class hardened festival goers. Basically they sh*t themselves for no reason 🤣
  13. A good nostalgic area would be playing late 90s to early noughties trance and hard house. Not Sophie Ellis Bexter, there enough of that pop shite on the main stages.
  14. Brilliant! Do you do stand up, by any chance? I'd like to book you for a wedding.

    Beer Prices

I dont really buy the whole, its the company who have the contract that set the prices thing. The festival will have plenty of companies vying to supply the beer, so surely they can set price levels and guidance in the bidding process? It is, after all, still their festival.
