  1. Last saw him in 2015, think tickets were £50 from memory. Looking forward to seeing him at Hammersmith. Got Damien Dempsey in Leeds the following night too.
  2. Thanks, I did that but without success. Good job I support the rail strikes or I'd have been really peed off!
  3. Front row circle for Fontaines DC Friday night at Hammersmith. Have had to list through Eventim's Fansale as that's the only way to resell their mobile tickets... bit of a pain. Below face value - https://www.fansale.co.uk/fansale/fontaines-d.c-tickets-6672632.htm?ptc=1
  4. Think you can safely add Billy Joel to the headliner or nothing list.
  5. Is it not possible to get a replacement outer sheet? Might be cheaper than replacing the whole thing?
  6. Got home from a couple of days visiting the family to find amongst the post my tickets for Bridlington. That was ridiculously fast.
  7. Had been hammering F5 for a while, with no luck. Then the site went down, unable to connect, after that I got holding page back on Chrome and left it for a while, checked the tips thread here and Twittrr, flicked back to see a registration page waiting. This was about 9.50
  8. Have funds waiting in Payal if anyone can help me out please. Ian Lockyer 62620664 EX1 2TH Dominic Brown 32231096 EX1 2TH
  9. I'd kind of assumed Hawley would be playing with them, as he did during the last reunion tour. Was super lucky and able to snag tickets for the Bridlington gig. It's a mega long way from Devon but will be totally worth it.
  10. Trip to Dublin then if the Glastonbury ticket gods do not smile...
  11. They have a similar thing in place for expensive seats in US basketball/hockey arenas whereby you buy a ticket that gets you into everything. Those are counted within capacity, and are a small percentage of what is available. If a 200 capacity club did this type of pass and made 20 available they'd not be impacted too hard, would have a good annual income toward bills guaranteed, and people with the passes would be able to sell on their ticket for a night they didn't want to attend, the same as sports fans can list their seats on Stubhub etc in the US if they don't want to see a band coming through their venue.

Hasn't done so far on their current tour, albeit only 2 dates in. Saw them in Manchester 10 years or so ago, they were really good. Would definitely be in the crowd for them.
  13. Decided against it on the morning of the gig, couldn't bring myself to do it. Had I been in London anyway I might have gone just to avoid the blanket news coverage.
  14. And we already knew that a lot of the dates had slow sales, so this could be that rather than anything else. Looks like the back corner of an arena, which you'd expect ot be the last to go.
  15. TM only earn the booking fee, which is a lot higher than the "face value" ticket booking fee (if you put a dynamic priced ticket in your cart you'll see how much). The Premium tickets are sold and profits go to the artist. An artist can set restrictions on how high the dynamic can rise to, and percentage of tickets that can go that way. Ticket Factory and TM both did it for the Springsteen stadium gigs. I anticipate See will follow suit as otherwise promoters won't give them as much work.
  16. The worst venue by a mile. Literally a cow shed.
  17. GA tickets were made available again Friday per the MCD tweet. Knew the seated bit hadn't done well night 2, but was the only place to get an extra show?
  18. Dublin seems to have sold better than most. Maybe they'll do those and bin the rest? Given how cynical their response has been to this, nothing would surprise me.
  19. This would have had a chance of selling well as a one off date. Hanging fire on booking too.
  20. Given Carole King headlined BST last time she was over, I suspect she'd probably want/expect to be higher up the bill. Would love to see her on the farm though.
  21. Only room for second nights if there's a three day minimum gap as no back to back shows over 2 nights any more.
  22. Good to know that was possible. I didn't venture up that way when wandering about, the map indicated that part of Wicket might have been given back to general camping. Was that the case? The last time I went (2017) all below the concrete roadway was given over to family camping. Avalon Inn only happens after Chai at the Lizzard Cafe in green futures!
  23. This. Friends didn't arrive from London until about 4pm, and sailed through PGA without any real queue. Others queued from before opening time and had a horror show. I arrived the following morning after getting the 9am bus from Glastonbury town and was in and tent pitched by 9.30. Perk of our deciding to camp in Pylon I guess, though I'm not sure I'd want to be there on a wet year and may return to Lime Kiln. Also, due to the train strikes, I binned off attempting to travel by rail and had to catch 3 buses to get from Exeter to the festival. Far less of a nuisance than I expected, and the extra time was no hassle. Nice on the way back to have time to stop for a coffee, pub lunch etc. rather than deal with the holding pens at the Festival Bus Station and Castle Cary. Only other change is I might get one of those Fresh camping tarps and set it up over the top of my existing tent to see if that reduces morning heat issues.
  24. Best was probably the rotisserie chicken, tasty and good value. The poutine place near Leftfield was not as good as in 2019, so disappointment there. Had some really good chips from the Squid place by the Other. Fish Finger Heaven in the theatre & circus area was excellent, shout out too for Tea and Toast a couple down for well priced Assam tea. Best chai on site is still from the Lunched Out Lizzard cafe in Green Futures. Best coffee... probably Camper Coffee on the bit between BBC Intro and Other.
  25. 117,061 from 9.00 Thursday morning to 9.30 this morning.
