  1. Yep they rent the land for anything outside the fence and some fields inside the fence too.
  2. Prices now available for Sticklinch and Worthy view and go on sale 1st Dec 12.00!
  3. Good luck to anyone here buying local weekend and Sunday tickets today! 😀🤞
  4. Cost of hiring the fields, cost of infrastructure/utilities/hire of showers/toilets/facilities/ storage and hire costs of tents, equipment/staffing. still cheaper than some of the glamping options and closer to festival. Plenty of free camping inside the festival for those who cant afford it. You are paying for convenience and a little bit of extra comfort I suppose? Not everyone can afford a campervan either.
  5. Prices for pre-erected tents etc now available. All on sale 12.00 1st December

Yep will need to try re-sale 🙄 I blame the COVID break for breaking our run of success!
  7. Nothing for our group of 6 although another group were successful and almost got ours - details were in and submit then sold out notice 😕😫

    THAT Oasis rumour

Noel goes every year regardless of whether he is playing so not sure that means anything
  10. yep someone had all 6 details in and went to pay and sold out🙁
  11. Hopefully the geographical spread will help - 2 areas in Bournemouth, 1 in London, 1 In Nottingham and 1 in Thailand!
  12. Just did checks on both personal and work laptops. Personal one fine but work one via vpn connection gets to the Glastonbury site but not the Seetickets link. Just come up with an error message. I assume it is something to do with the vpn connection?

Chris Martin still popping up everywhere even down under - apparently couple getting married in the park in Perth had unexpected visit from the man himself- they’d been walking down aisle to a Coldplay song and he happened to be nearby and jumped over a fence to say hi!!

If you can get stadium tickets at the actual face value price then whilst expensive they are comparable to some other sports and entertainment events. It’s the rip off dynamic pricing or VIp pricing that starts to become eye watering. Many years ago we paid £78 for U2 tickets at Wembley ( 2008?) with a “view” of the back of the stage -thankfully my cousin knew the security manager who got us moved to Club Wembley seats. We paid £120 for the non- sellout Reputation tour at Wembley in 2018 floor front side seating with great views of A and B stages. This time we have paid £172 face value for front left standing at Murrayfield. The cost of getting to and staying 2 nights in Edinburgh though is the eye watering bit!!
  16. Why TFC? Can’t see any gig dates beyond next March ?
  17. Why - that link has been deleted. They haven’t played in years and years so about time they played. They are doing some Scottish festivals in July.
  18. The Park might be a good shout for them - it tends to have a more eclectic mix?
  19. You could still ring up and pay for them later by postal order in 2007!
  20. Got tickets from 1995 for a few years by sending a cheque and letter to Worthy Farm. When it moved to telephone and dial up internet we still got tickets until the nightmare of 2004 which was the last time we didn’t get tickets until last year! There are always going to be more people who want tickets than tickets available ( 2008 was anomaly year) No system is perfect- at least we don’t have to compete with bots, Ticket Master, dynamic pricing, fan pre-sale codes etc its really just luck these days if we get tickets, and if we do then persistence in re-sales, competitions, volunteering opportunities.
  21. So our group of 6 were just trying Sunday. 2 of our group will now be on holiday- the one going to Thailand is now taking his iPad to try! I have been insisting everyone has double checked their registration is valid - all are insisting they have done so and are annoyed at me keep asking! If anyone’s reg doesn’t work now on 19th then they will just have to lose out.
  22. As long as it’s the right one it doesn’t matter- some international zip codes are a bit different to Uk postcodes though so just make sure you add it as it was registered.
  23. That’s what we thought- I did ask everyone in our group of 6 to double check their registrations were all valid and they have all confirmed but still very nervous that See have deleted random ones even so. Guess we won’t know until we try!
