The announcement is mentioned in another thread but feel it deserves one on its own.
Not sure when it's being posted on the facebook page.
Post reactions to line up tomorrow morning

Looks pretty good so far!
Not too crazy about Deacon Blue though.

If Texas & Deacon Blue are both headliners, then I'm disappointed. Liked them well enough 1st time around, but think at least one headliner should be more current. Texas are strong enough I guess but DB, not so sure

I think it is great announcement; Frank Turner and Admiral Fallow!

Agree 100% with you. Line up is pretty weak. Other than Frank Turner there's nothing to excite. I'll see what proposed festie in Aberdeen the week before announces and might give Bella a miss this year.

After waiting with such baited breath for this morning, our house is now filled with a sense of crushing disappointment.
Oh well. Hope there's some extras over the next few months to start looking forward to.

Understand you're feeling. Seems like a major lack of thought went into the planning. Not sure if they're taking the sell out of the last couple of years for granted and billing any old shite as headliners. Deacon Blue, for any sake, they lost any relevance years ago and might be ok for an afternoon singalong, but headliners they aren't.

What festie, not Wizard?
I'm sure there will be loads of other good stuff
and the atmosphere is always great but how can you compare DB to Feeder! You can't

Ok found it.
Texas and Deacon Blue oh deary me have any of them released anything decent in the last 10 years? newton puts on a good show and admiral fallow were a band that have really come up in the last year, i only caught a song last year because I went to see the boy that trapped the sun but have seen them since and are really good.
tbh, benji francis leftwich is the only act there i'd hand over any cash to see and well maybe frank turner.
The line up could improve of course, it will get slightly worsewhen they add the dangleberries, but it could get better.

newton puts on a good show? he's put on the exact same one every time i've seen him the past 4 years. he's a joker!
agreed about one act needing to be current. hopefully tent headliners one will be

that's a line up certainty lol
Saw James Mackenzie at Loop last year, they were good and Newton Falkner should be good, not really heard of anyone else - but that's not unusual for me lol

JM is great I saw him at rockness last year and he played Bella as well. I would recommend folks go and see him.
(have a look for randolphs leap as well, i'd bet they will play this year and were good when I saw them last year)

Newton Falkner, Frank Turner, Admiral Fallow, Little Comets
Are all decent announcements IMO.
Wouldn't particularly be interested in Texas or DB though.
Don't feel like it's that bad an announcement though, to be honest.

Just what I read on Aberdeen mad and Aberdeen music. The bands I've heard suggested are much more my cuppa that what Bella is currently offering.
Last Sat/Sun July at Seaton Park seems to be rumour

Frank T is the only one I would pay to see if he/they played in Aberdeen. The general atmosphere at Bella is normally good but looking at what's on offer this year it's maybe too much to ask heading up for 2 and 1/2 days to be there for two 2010 Bella Saturday's ie nothing to do for a whole day waiting to see one act.
