The code was from hot uk deals i've heard the stories before regarding littlewoods codes but i've never had any problems with them, i've used few now and have alays got the discount and never had a charge back

Might be alright/lucky, but I'm not gonna risk it; I considered afte,r they've got the stronger position in any dispute as misuse of the voucher is breaking t&cs and it's fraudulently misrep really.

Screams to me of dodgy marketing practice though...lure in huge increase of sales and then recover full amount; probably wouldn't be surprised if they virally released the codes themselves.

Not wanting to ruin everyone's fun here, but I used to work for Shop Direct (as it was then called), albeit several years ago before I moved back to the Midlands.

I wouldn't trust them with my money at all now I've read about these unclear t&c's. If you're prepared to take the gamble, fine - but personally I wouldn't!! Not a bad company to work for actually, great curries on a Wednesday in the canteen.
