''Love is like a teacup that every day falls to the ground and breaks to pieces. In the morning the pieces are gathered, and with a little wet and a little warmth, the pieces are glued together, and again there is a little teacup. He who is in love spends life fearing that the terrible day will come when the teacup is so broken that it can no longer be mended''

- Subcomandante Marcos

I have been looking for the pieces of a broken teacup for most of my life and I didn't even know it.

p.s. I take discursive psychology over analytic psychology (such as Freud) any day.

Spock cause he can have emotion when he wants to and he's a bit of a communist with his rebellions!

Tuvok's rubbish. He doesn't rebel!

Look at you being aloof and unavailable to make yourself seem more appealing.

You must think I'm daft girl!

*if indeed you are a girl*

Clear Freudian slip. You cleary don't want me to at all; you couldn't even bring yourself to say it.

You lot have just reminded me......the store manager of Tesco announced I was 'his kind of girl' the other day. When I asked him why, he said 'because you're cheeky...if only you were ten years older' :P

If that wasn't enough, as I was walking away he shouted after me 'what's your mother like?' <_<

Hehe!

I remember that bloke - he banned someone I know from doing rugby on a weekend, and a few weeks later he moved up to the local tesco on Whitworth Road at the bottom of Syke...

I'm used to getting that kind of thing... in fact, last time Tom came up all I had for three days was "Shin, your mum is a milf!" - lovely... he fancies my sister too - a bit strange...

That would be Mr Robert Franklin. We thought he was a perve until we got our new store manager. Can I get in trouble for saying this??? <_<:P

My manager always touches me on the back, in a sort of half hug, and asks me to do overtime (it's always friday night or something) if I refuse he'll stand like that convincing me until i say yes. Then he winks at me n says I'm a star, still in that position and has a brief conversation about what bit to face up, and then leaves. I know it doesn't sound that bad, but he does it a lot, and only to me and another guy. That's it, the rest he justs asks normally.

    • New Overmono album is... just good for me. Had high hopes which were later dashed a bit after listening to some of the singles but they brought me back around enough to appreciate some very nice work in there. https://music.apple.com/ie/album/pure-devotion/1894298100
    • I don't really worry about headliners (unless there's a real possibility of a once-in-a-lifetime artist landing for it) but I'm starting to feel a bit cold on the names floating around bar Fontaines.  Harry Styles and Sam Fender, I can see the value and commercially speaking, they've earned it.  Sabrina Carpenter is obviously popular enough to do it - but after she's headlined everywhere else and done Coachella earlier this year, is it not just a bit predictable to follow what other festivals have done?
    • Bollocks to “safe” headliners, bollocks to the masses. Get interesting, get risky, challenge people.
    • The Cure would be a dream, I can definitely see them doing a second run of festivals they may have missed this year and they seem the definitive Latitude act  If they do festivals next year maybe The Strokes could be a shout? Im stunned either them or Kings of Leon haven't played yet This is a great shout for names, youre right that CMAT is taking a year out though - we're like to know more in the autumn when festivals start making announcements  The only other act I'd really love to see is Idles headline the tent
