I'm sort of with you though I don't think there's anything wrong with sleeping around if you want to. I don't know why getting attached to someone else would be a bad thing.

I was really trying to avoid suggesting there being anything wrong with sleeping around. I just know I can't do it, I have tried but it's a little awkward when you want to see them again and their reaction is incredulity ;)

Goblinz, I remember our conversation on Sunday morning, during Glasto ticket buying....

It'll never work.

hehe when I first got together with my boyfriend he asked me if we were just having casual sex because he didn't want that. Unfortunately he somehow accidentally managed to imply I was a slag while asking this. He's so smooth.

no ;)

But we do like to play a game where we try and put each other off by saying stupid things. I'm currently winning by asking "so how does the internet work then?" (he's an electronic type engineer). I'm a bastard.

That's what I was thinking, and then she kisses me good-bye.

I don't want to fall out with her though. It's weird... we both have qualities that don't mix yet we get on so well, at the end of the day, is it who the person is or what they do that counts?

Surely what they do makes them what they are? If there is anything that is stopping you being 100% utterly & completely you, then how can it work? If you have to hold back from or cover up anything you would normally do because your other doesn't approve, then how are you ever going to be able to be true to you?

Because when I'm in Sheffield I stay at my mates house. I'm trying to be very careful what I say in a public forum but i'm not sure how she'd react to staying somewhere where theres a regular stream of people arriving and then leaving a couple of minutes later mixed with the people that are generally there that have been awake from 3 days.

If you've ever seen the film "party monster" you'll understand the kind of people I spend a lot of time with! There's nothing wrong with it, I just don't think a devout Christian/Doctor would be comfortable with it.

Please can you put me in touch with your mates, either one of them will do.
