Definitely see this as being 'weak' on paper but could see a few bumps up from previous sets at Download (Don Broco, Neck Deep etc).

That would be a day ticket for Friday going based on that. In 2027 that would suck for me lol.

I could go for Deftones and Muse. Gojira, Turnstile, Knocked Loose and Priest would do nicely as well for me

After the mess at Architects, it'd be a bold choice to put Enter Shikari or Knocked Loose on that stage unless it clashes with a really popular headliner.

That stage needs a rethink, IMO, people have talked about the idea of alternating main stages, and I think it's time, unless they can find another way of moving it and making more space. Nowhere near big enough for some of the acts they want to put on it.

I think alternating main stages is the way but they've only just updated the main stage this year

I think the fact the opus stage area is on a slope really hurts it as it makes the pit area really small

I think there will be some cuts next year with eyes on the anniversary

I'm not sure they'll make the 25th anything out of the ordinary to be honest as not much time will have passed since the 20th, even the 10th wasn't anything different from the norm other than Metallica playing the black album in full

They will probably make it part of the advertising and nothing more, similar to Slam Dunk this year

That's thrown a spanner into the world

Main stage sub next year hopefully

Assume they aren’t big enough to headline? Would make a cool sub but kinda co headline with NIN.

Would Blink-182, NIN / Faith No More & Bring Me The Horizon go down well or a bit too small?

FNM headlined in 2009 then dropped down to sub in 2015

I think the circumstances of them headlining in 2009 were a bit different and they haven't got any bigger since 2015 other than the fact they are reuniting again

I think they sub or even headline second stage more likely the former as this year shows how putting a big band on second stage can cause issues

I can imagine a top three on main stage of Deftones / FNM / Motionless In White

And so it begins!! Who we thinking? Outside of Blink as headliner got no clue. Could see Motionless In White to main sub BMTH that would be so class!

Blink, Slipknot and Deftones

Non of them are stadium bands so I don't think it would break the bank if they are doing cuts (not saying they wouldn't cost money)

In terms of the rest of the lineup i'd love Avril, Gojira and FNM as subs

Maybe the avalanche nostalgia band could be Bloodhound Gang

We've not had Slipknot since 2023, I'd be quite surprised if they're not back for 2027.

It'd be an incredible but not an unexpected fumble for them to drop the ball on Blink, but I think those two have to be my favourites. Blink/ Slipknot + one other, Deftones, Bring Me, maybe even Muse or System as the third one?

Blink and Slipknot I think are solid guesses.

Depending on cash and touring, I'd say you have one of these for the Sunday:

Muse

Deftones

SOAD

Foo Fighters

I'd doubt bringing back Bring me the horizon for 27 if Slipknot are in (too similar to 23).
