Had a go at a poster pre announcement

Very bold not picking Rise Against given they have a 2 week gap in Germany between shows.

JEW returning after just 4 years while not impossible would be a bit of a shock but given there’s such a small pool of headliners it’s not impossible.

After the announcement yesterday, it would not be a surprise if there are a few shared bands at both OB and 2KT next year.

Think James on podcast has spoken about Creeper as being not quite there as a full headliner yet. Feel like big Wednesday headliner or a sub for the other days feels about right. AFI sub would be great, but sounds like the latest noise from them has put some cold water on non-US dates.

My thinking there was James said one of the headliners over the two fests is a repeat, and if Trees I reckon JEW could be quite likely

Rise Against I could just imagine doing a one off Brixton date or something

Is the 2 week gap rather MCR stadium support adjacent? Haven't looked

Not exactly (couldn’t do all dates) but a run is certainly possible. This was something discussed several months ago as a line of thought. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

Story so Far haven't announced any UK dates yet but are on some of the EU fests. With Slam Dunk, Outbreak and Download been and gone could be one to watch here?

Probably too big, and maybe too "Slam Dunk-y" but the same with A Day To Remember too...

Definitely don't think they're too big, and certainly not in the same ball park as A Day To Remember. Could see them subbing main stage and would absolutely love it.

TSSF would be fine. Slam Dunk isn't 3 enough it's usual Slam Dunky itself so.

The Slam Dunk comment comes directly from the band booker for the festival via his podcast. He's said he purposefully doesn't book bands if he thinks they're too much of a Slam Dunk band instead.

    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
    • If anyone sees Lakefest this weekend on any sites please post here, I’ve got alerts set. Been on TFG in recent years and not sold out yet.
