Just speculation at this stage and fans guessing but I guess a lot of it is based off who played in 2022 and 2023 due to come back and who hasn’t played in ages. Either way I’m hoping for it and looking forward to it.

Do people think ADTR are going to come back after doing festivals in Europe this summer and UK? I seen a few saw them as sub but for me I’m not sure they’ll come over next summer and if they do come back it’ll be a proper smaller arena tour is my guess. Would love them back at DL they were class at SD!

Yes that's another question but they brought out a new album earlier thus year so two years touring that wouldn't be unlikely. Outside of Electric Callboy, they were very clearly the biggest bands playing Slam Dunk and to sell out at between £130 and £150 for a ticket is pretty impressive. A lot of bands on there aside couldn’t and have their own tours much cheaper and much smaller venues.

Don’t know if it’s the same at Slam Dunk south but the second “main stage” at north is tiny in comparison to the actual main stage. And the well know Temple Newsam sound issues are shocking. On that basis I’d have said the top three were ADTR, Neck Deep then Electric Callboy.

ADTR were meant to play Temple Newsam the weekend of Slam Dunk but then covid happened, we were waiting years for a make up do.

so from what is being said on the Glasto tour announcement page SOAD & QOTSA are doing a show at Tottenham, but date is TBC

Yes, was just coming to discuss this.

Will say it is a big ask for SOAD, having never seen them, because on their day, very few acts match QOTSA as a live operator.

Interesting. If true rules SOAD out (and QOTSA but don’t think they were considered for 2026 anyway). Makes the available headliner pool thinner. With doing their own shows/tours think it’s fair to rule out:

- SOAD (if true)

- Metallica (tour)

- Def Leppard (tour)

- MCR (Wembley)

- Deftones (tour)

- Biffy (tour)

- Green Day Korn Sleep Token (played last year)

- A7X, FOB and QOTSA (played 2024 so IMO too soon to play again)

Have I missed any other headliner or potential headliner that’s been somewhat ruled out due to tours/shows?

Be interesting to see who it leaves.

Some seem to think Blink will be on the road but I can't see it.

Muse maybe?

Few murmurs of GnR

Can never truly rule Slipknot out

Foos?

Truthfully I think it will be be the 3 everyone else thinks it is, just throwing names out for conversation's sake.

BMTH can’t be ruled out since they’re at Nova Rock the same weekend but I can’t see them playing, they’ve toured Nex Gen to death, especially over here.

Oli did say something to the effect of you won't see us in the UK for a long time after Reading, but you couldn't rule it out if DL needed a headliner I think they would do it

Yeah exactly it would be the same stage show as 2023. I think they play 2027 after having a year to come up with something new.

Agreed. If needed DL would Book but think it’s unlikely

Mixed messages in his last few interviews. He’s said they’re going away for a while but also that he can’t stand the idea of going on hiatus. If DL absolutely need a headliner they’ll probably take the cash.

The setlist at R&L felt stale to me and I’m a big fan. Seen that show at least four times now since 2021.

Wouldn't rule out Blink 182 personally. Doing the US with what looks to be a really good setlist with some nice rarities. Might be a safer bet for them than moving up to a stadium.

I think they could do a solid EU fest headliner run, not many that wouldn't want them to top the bill, I think they'd need a strong undercard to fill a stadium.
