You’ve got to think all of TOP, The Offspring, Yungblud & Papa Roach could be in for sub or 2nd stage headliner slots with this only being a week out. I do wonder where all this end up if not at Download.

Suppose Slam Dunk could take Offspring and Papa Roach, and 21P could do their own thing? But I think Papa Roach has to be nailed on for Download

TOP would be headliners but they’re rumoured for Reading and Leeds. I put Yungblud as main sub in my prediction under LP.

Offspring headline slam dunk few years ago so feels likely if they want them back otherwise it would be 2000 Trees.

Papa Roach as main sub or second stage headliner you reckon?

Would be a very tasty lineup!! But I don’t see ADTR being back in Europe and UK next year to be honest. Plus think at this stage Neck Deep would be a slot higher.

Side note I’d love for Tenacious D to be main sub next year.

Also don't see TOP at Download. If you’re a second stage headliner at Download then you’re playing 3rd down. It's very rare that isn't the case. It used to be as low as 4th down on literally the same ground.

Are the D back after the whole Trump thing in Oz? Hope so, saw them on that tour in Dublin and it was a great night out

That my money, that Saturday is the stuff of dreams.

I wonder if Motionless In White will come back over after their February arena tour.

I think TOP will do Reading and Leeds instead to be fair.

I hope they do come back they played in 2023 but have grown considerably bigger since then it seems!

TOP won’t be at R&L now they’re doing Europe in June. Very rare a band do early and late summer festivals. So either headliner/sub at Download or will do something like Crystal Palace park like Deftones last year unless Slam Dunk go for TOP.

Nah, Neck Deep 4th down is fine for them. They aren’t as big as JEW, Don Broco or Spiritbox.

Yeah good point about sticking around didnt think. Download it Slam Dunk then normally I’d say they’re too big for Slam Dunk but it’s the 20th anniversary so they may go all out.

Neck Deep played 4th down last time they played in 2023 so I’d expect them to be bumped up a slot at the very least to third down or sub second stage at this point.

TOP would not be my choice for a Slam Dunk booking, I also dont think they'll get them. Too big.

Agreed on them being too big but it’s 20th anniversary if there’s one year to go all out it’s next year. However I agree think they’re unlikely for SD.

Be interesting to see what happens. Leaks might start happening soon.

    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
