You’re right, they’re no longer on the website A-Z list

Gutted about that! Was looking forward for to seeing them! Surprised we’ve got Creeper again so soon after headlining 4th in2024 and I swear they played 2023.

Still better than the Saturday when GNR last headlined lol

Yes but is but last day they headlined was one of the worst festival day bills ever. Trivium looks very weak in that spot though. Marmozets and Drowning Pool are all I'd go for from that day.

My guess is now in general that because how the timings work and that second stage headliner actually goes on after main stage sub they are trying to get all of them as sub level because all would sub main stage. The Sunday main stage though is awful, but I was expecting that.

Funnily enough I have a lot of acts at RIP that clash with others that are playing on that Sunday. Ego Kill Talent. TK2, Catch your breath, social distortion clashes more at RIP than Ring which is annoying but theg clash with The Offspring there and there is only one winner. Tom Morello would have clash too and I'm not that bothered about him but it sorts that. ADTR will depend on how close I'd like to get for LP but given I'm seeing them the week before anyway I'm happy as long as I'm just there, hoping for some mix up of songs given the only UK date they did.

Friday Main stage looks fantastic imo just like last year

Definitely this years day i can ignore completely lol. POD, Hollywood Undead and Feeder for me there but as easier day to miss as I could probably have. Saturday I'd like to see Drowning Pool and Marmozets but Marmozets are also playing Trees one day.

Sunday I've got options to pack the day out though they aren't all strong options. I'll grab a ticket later as I've got enough and bus it us from East Mids again.

Weird they still haven’t mentioned that five day weekend tickets have sold out in their latest posts or the website update

Kam has said, 'Yes, 5 day camping tickets are sold out! This is one of the fastest selling @downloadfest ever!' over on Instagram with a picture of the line-up.

I like the lineup overall, there's lots of clashes for me which makes it a healthy lineup.

That being said, they did such a good job last year with curating the main stage so people who are fans of the genre of that day's headliner didn't really have to do much running around, but that seems to have been neglected this year.

Obviously, you book who you can on specific placement conditions, but man I'm gonna get my steps in this year!

I think the whole ticket situation is pretty disgusting and Download have some explaining to do

The fact they didn't put a low ticket warning out or clarify that there would be less 5 day tickets than usual is pretty scummy

I've already bought my ticket a long with a few friends but there's still a couple more of my friends who were planning on going and getting a ticket later on but are now not coming because they don't want to mess about with Twickets

You will get tickets off of twickets without any issues at all later. On this too I think Sunday will sell pretty quick so that'll be harder to grab off of twickets.

The buzz around that rumoured secret set last year would back this up, it was like the old days of secret set rumours at R&L 😂

I think you'd get that buzz though for a lot of bands that are going to be opening a stage largely unnaposed. But it is what it is.

100%, I was hanging on in case a campervan pass came up closer the time but could now miss out altogether.

Surely it selling out is something you’d want to make a big song and dance about. Considering they’ve not done that I think they’ll create additional five day tickets from the three day ones later.

I'd say its more likely they are pushing them over to 3 day instead. Literally no reason they need t be sold out of 5 day camping yet end of February for a festival in June, another month yes. They know their sales though and can do all that behind the scenes if that was the plan. It'll certainly make it look stronger though.

Trivium and Behemoth clashing is very weird

I wouldn't be surprised if timings shift quite substantially to what we have currently on Clashfinder - not sure how long Guns N Roses are playing for, whether other stages will overlap etc.

If they are doing over 2 hours there will need to be clashes, only 2 hours you are still pushing it not to have any clashes and that will likely mean others sets are all shorter through the day to allow for it.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
