Be interesting to get @Suprefan take about Gaga, the mic and poor sound widely reported this past Friday after the superior Coachella sound comparison recently. Well the mic did fail so that actually happened.

Missy Elliot had a similar issue so it wasnt isolated to Gaga. Wind doesnt have mercy out here, they acted fast and got it sorted. She wasnt lip synching was she? Still better sound than Glasto so something that happens at any festival just gets magnified cause it had to go down last night. She sounded really good til it had the issue and then back to good again. Would love to see Prodigy sound as good as they did last night but that aint gonna happen on Sunday in June.

 

So nobody watched Erivo and Grohl? Wheres the London Symphony doing this twice in a week with an almost entirely diff slate of acts and bidding goodbye to a longtime conductor and music director that had a a big impact on the city. Thought so...

Thought it was the LA Philharmonic. I've not seen but I did hear Grohl had two songs and given I'd just been to see Beck in London with an orchestra, I'm curious to give it a listen.

 

Probably a different vibe to when I went to Truck Festival in 2019 and they had the Oxford Symphony Orchestra play a load of film scores as the opening act of the Saturday.

No one said she was lip syncing though did they. Right we get it, we get excuse wind at Coachella making problems with the sound carry but not at Glastonbury because one is your country festival vs one that isn't.

 

There is nothing you have to categorically make the point The Prodigy won't sound as good at Glastonbury but of course you're going to make a point they didn't sound as good after attending because not everyone on here attending was there live Coachella. But some of us to know how it works over there. You'll be able to dance around here as well without complaining that the weather is too hot to move your arms lol....again some of us know what the weather is like.
