@adequate8 - just revisiting your comment, as Wet Leg have been given top billing on the poster. Fingers crossed you are correct as on before Basement Jaxx seems to work and I would love to see Orbital after dark.

Turns out Wet Leg before Basement

Anyone else going? Dive stage has a good bunch of new acts this year

Anyone you particularly recommend?

Going with the family so expect to be concentrating on Wilderness Stage / Atrium / Jumpyard and Club House as our main areas

One final question. Is it ok to arrive at teatime on Friday or might I have difficulties getting a space to put my tent?

Thank you!

You should have no issue at all, there's usually plenty of room about.

Hello all. Coming for first time. How is the walk from car park to family camping? Cheers

Assuming they've not changed the layout again / too much, very easy. Not too hilly, and both are pretty much either side of the gate.

If its like last year, 10 minutes. If like 2023 when it was one field over, from the back of the car park to the far camping point was still under 20 minutes each way.

So what did we all think of this years Wilderness?

Good fun. I used to be a big festival goer but now with child don't go as much, so it's great to have a nice, family festival vibe and my boy loves it.

So thumbs up from us.

Shite

i'd definitely like to hear more about this....

This was our 3rd trip to Wilderness as a family and felt a lot better curating the weekend to our likes and not trying to many other things. Wet leg confirmed my opinion they are in fact rubbish. The festival did seem to be cutting corners, fewer showers, fewer bins, the removal of the wonderful peacock bar to be replaced with yet another branded bar from one of their "partners". The audi house was gregarious to a point of stupidity.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
