I guess they can still change that. From the social media post nos alive made about kings of leon, it did not looked like there normal headliner post

They literally said on their «newsletter» that they are famous for headlining several european festivals, including Glastonbury

That is the kind of text for an headliner

Was checking ticketline and noticed that there is already the first poster

Kings of Leon are indeed main headliners, like Olivia Rodrigo

Coimbra's a bit random isn't it?

Not as random as no French show at all but still.

Not at all, as @Yokai said , Coldplay played there 4 nights last year. U2 , Madonna , George Michael also played there in the past.

it´s not ideal since im from Lisbon but its a good central city in the country to bring people from the north and south.

Im going with a couple of friends but tickets are expensive

I'd forgotten U2 played there in 2010 on the 360 Tour tbf.

Would it be too early for the IDLES to return and sub KOL. I know this would be their 3rd time in a short number of years. I have seen them both times, but would love to see them take a bigger slot on the main stage.

2022 - Coliseu and Paredes de Coura

2023 - NOS Alive

2024 - Super Bock Arena and Paredes de Coura

I mean… again?

    • A few snaps from Sunday, which was huge fun, plus Happy Mondays, Radio Free Alice, Fratellis and Pale Waves. We didn't stay for The Streets, as after 3-4 songs it felt so downbeat compared to the rest of the day, and i've got another hectic week at work incoming.
    • It was fine, just hectic! The youngsters were mostly very well-behaved. The weather was a real bonus, although surprisingly chilly evenings - I guess it's the altitude - and the area between sound and main stage was a massive dust bowl.
    • Ive always had a lot of time for the mighty Shots, a pal of mine used to commentate on their games for Sussex Counties radio and he'd sneak me into the ground for midweek games, and we'd even nick a tea and a plate of sandwiches. This is back in the George Borg days, so um . . a little while ago now
    • Hmm, weird- Rush are playing the Co-Op live on the 12th and the 14th, and Megadeth are the meat in that sandwich - so they have to roll everything in, roll it out again, only to roll it back in and then out - here's hoping for a prog hokey-cokey with all manner of bizarre time signatures and drum solos!
    • Depends what you mean by seeing 'more stuff' about it.    I definitely don't trust the original Sun article.
