How do the shuttle buses work?

Couldn't find this in search, so thought I'd ask...

I have been pretty chill about planning how to get there, because I read on there that there's shuttle buses from Salisbury station.

However, I just looked again and it says to check timetables & buy tickets for the shuttle on the national express site 🤔 https://endoftheroadfestival.com/information/travel

Which doesn't sound very shuttle-y.

Does anyone have any experience of this? Can you just turn up at Salisbury and take a bus to the site?

Trying to book it on the website isn't giving much joy...

Thanks!

Yes you can pay on the day, but you may have to wait if the buses are full of pre-paid people. Also IIRC they are more expensive on the day, so it's better to pre-book it if you can.

I might end up stranded as it says 'sold out' on the national express website

The least "shuttle" shuttle of all time 😇

I guess, judging by other replies, you would have to get lucky that someone for the sold out service doesn't show, and it has space.

Thanks everyone for the replies and helping us understand! Appreciate it.
