Ticket dispatch/ticket address

Hi everyone just wondering if someone could answer some questions for me!

Going to my first glasto but I’m most likely going to be moving house between the middle of May to the start of June so I’m just wondering what I should do about my ticket being sent out?

How soon in advance do tickets normally get dispatched? And also how long does it take to change the address on your ticket? Is this something that can be done when paying in April?

Will appreciate any help!

Not sure as I get my ticket onsite, but I'm guessing that changing your registration details should do it.

You can update your address on the registration at any time, however your problem is one of timing. Mid-May and the first 2 weeks of June is the normally the time when tickets are posted so changing address in this period comes with a risk. I'd consider using a safe third party address to give greater certainty.

Brill thanks! Think I’m gonna change it to the address of someone else also in my ticket group, that won’t be an issue as they already have a ticket linked to that address will it?

won't be an issue, plenty of people live together with different surnames 🙂

If you're in a group perhaps you could consider someone acting as Lead Booker. That way all the tickets would go to their address and you would save on postage costs.

I think I read that if need to change your address with See Tickets as well as your registration if you move between getting tickets and them being sent out. So you might want to double check that, I think it’s in some FAQ’s on either see tickets or Glasto website.

I’m not 100% sure of this though, but thought I’d point it out anyway.

    • Yesterday was another brilliant day of music for me. Some highlights:  My Bloody Valentine - absolutely loved it! Maybe my main festival highlight. I felt submerged in the music with all the layers and distortion. It becomes hypnotic almost as it progresses. Not as loud as some thought it might be, but it didn’t need to be. The visuals added a lot too. During the noise part of You Made me Realise, I was basically in a trance staring at the visual tunnel or whatever it was on screen. Amazing experience. Little Simz - as she mentioned at the start, you’re guaranteed a good time with her. Great performance just like in 2022. Zero complaints. The little DJ section wasn't something I expected but was cool. Kneecap - I had a blast but at this point in the night I was at my most intoxicated let's say, so I don’t remember it as clearly as I'd have liked to!    The xx - The sound for this was perfectly balanced (at least where I was) and the band were great. Lots of talkers, but with the crowd size and being kind of far back, it's to be expected. Intro was one of my favourite moments this year. Big Thief - really good live performers. The lead singer has a lovely voice. This was a nice chill way to kick off the mordor gigs for me.
    • I've been attending Primavera every year since my first one in 2017 & it's always been my favourite week of the year, but I think things have changed.   Firstly, the site just feels too busy in this current set-up. I'm sure it was a lot easier back in 2017-19 to get between the stages & then a good spot for the next one, but now you increasingly have to sacrifice parts of a set or miss them out completely to plan for later on. I wish we still had the Bits area over the bridge to spread everyone out.   But the main issue is the talking, it's always been here but this year it's been relentless & I just can't tolerate it any more. It's at every stage, and everywhere from the front to the back, there is no escape. Not focusing on nationalities, but a major dynamic now seems to be groups of people who are only focusing on their own good time & aren't interested if this affects anyone else. It seems essential that all members of the group are together at the same time, so it's people making telephone calls, people on shoulders waving phone torches, people barging through. It's alright, I'm only trying to watch The Cure here.   I will have a year away to think about it. I thought might give up completely but yesterday was a bit of a classic day after two unenjoyable ones. Adding Olivia Rodrigo to Baxter Dury, Gelli Haha, The XX, Gorillaz & Kneecap shows how good it can be, but as with everything, it's always the people that have the biggest impact.
