In 2023, the festival will take place in 1 weekend of 4 days for the first time (Knotfest in 2019 isn't counting). Curious to see what they'll got this time...

Some ideas for the main names...

MS2: Within Temptation - Evanescence - Sum 41.

FRIDAY
MS1: SlipKnot - KoRn - Trivium.
MS2: Faith No More - Tenacious D - Yungblud.

SATURDAY
MS1: Ozzy Osbourne - Judas Priest - Alter Bridge.
MS2: Avenged Sevenfold - Arch Enemy - In Flames.

SUNDAY:
MS1: Mötley Crüe - Def Leppard - Poison.
MS2: Parkway Drive - Amon Amarth - Architects.

It's a better game to guess who won't be playing hellfest

Both games will be fun this time. This year, with the 7 days, they got almost everything indeed. They gonna have to make some choices for 2023, even with a 4th day! I prefer guess who's coming 🙂

We can lock Parkway Drive in, I got confirmation on that. I’ll add Ozzy in some form, Pantera and Rammstein all in some sort of headliner capacity. Chuck in Mudvayne, Mr Bungle, Machine Head, Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir and Hollywood Vampires

found, not sure if only wishlist (Maiden and the Motley & co are nailed on though)

The colour scheme looks right, and the Hellfest poster did leak early last year and everyone dismissed it thinking it looked far too stacked but I’d be surprised if that’s real.

Me being me will definitely have everything crossed that AC/DC are in the mix for festivals next year now though

Curious to see if it's real or not... If AC/DC weren't on it, I'd have zero doubt as the rest were all in the rumors. Iron Maiden is the only big band the Hellfest didn't get in 2022 and the band hasn't any shows booked in France and has a gap between 13 and 19 June... It this line-up is real, it could mean Avenged Sevenfold won't tour next Summer.

Thursday
MS1 AC/DC
MS2 Hollywood Vampires

Friday
MS1 Iron Maiden
MS2 Parkway Drive

Saturday
MS1 Mötley Crüe
MS2 Def Leppard

Sunday
MS1 SlipKnot
MS2 Pantera

    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
