There is far far to much of this cringe at this at the festival don't encourage it. 

If people really understood and participated in politics they would know that just slagging off the person you don't like is infantile and counter-productive.

Far far to much of this cringe fun making at Glastonbury. As an extension of this anything political at Glastonbury should come with a cringe warning and a safe space for those who cringe such as a crèche where they can express their infantilism.

When I was a kid, Tommy Vance would go to Monsters of Rock. Every year he'd get them to do a shout out for the Friday Rock Show on R1. 

TV "OK I'll say 123, then you shout 'Rock On Tommy'" 

"123..."

Thousands shout...."**** off Tommy" 

Oh well it cheered us up 😊
