JFK was revered in the Irish community in the 1960's. I don't think that notion passed on to the next generation. 

The above said, there must be a market for that numberplate. Look for a JFK forum, and if there is one, put it out there.

I once saw a red Ferrari driving adjacent to Birmingham's Rag Market (many moons ago now). It had the registration reference MOB1. The bloke driving it did look like somebody you wouldn't want to have ' front lawned, 'curtilage' legal issues with.
