I'd say that Tories who'd normally switch to libdems are switching to reform this time. Which prolly means fewer tory seat losses than might be expected and less chance of Hung parliament.

I'd say more likely they're losing votes to both lib dems and reform, each attracting different types of voter..but recently there has been a surge of switching to reform which are making the tories panic.

Normally libdems would win a fair few seats from the Tories, I'm expecting less of that next election.

Iran has been taking the piss out of the USA just like saddam had done. They had to show Saddam who was boss. If the yanks take Iran down they could end the trouble in syria too. Except Syria would fragment without Assad.

Why?

The interfering twats need to calm down.

That isn't the govt, it is some of the more right wing members at their own conference, bit like NatCons or ProCons or whateverelseCons.

but reality is the Oct7th attacks probably help their cause, like the Israeli response helps the more extreme Hamas/Iranian destruction of Israel cause..extremists on both sides feed each other until it becomes a fight to the death and no compromise is possible.

This is the exact problem. And the extremists equate everyone else as the extremists on the other side, which keeps on feeding the cycle.

Separating the population of Israel with their government, and the population of Palestine with Hamas is vital to counter the escalation.

which might mean proper international intervention. Israel public have been voting Likud/Netanyahu for a long time, they are not pro two state...and Gazans don't get to vote that often but when they did they voted for Hamas...so this has to be enforced unless the public on both sides can be persuaded to forgive and accept the other, and with all the death and destruction going on can't see that happening any time soon.

go back to 1948 and enforce borders of new Jewish state created by UN partition plan to prevent surrounding Arab countries invading?

And at the same time prevent Israeli from encroaching on Palestinian lands
