I don’t think it’s gonna be this close at all but this would be the worst case scenario of a win and would 100% result in months of legal sh*t before an eventual winner was declared. Bush/Gore all over again.

Bush/Gore is often quoted as in some way equivalent to Trump's 2020 nonsense.

It's not. There were legitimate concerns around the result in Florida where there was a Bush majority of just over 300 out of 6million votes. Their attempts to challenge the result was eventually blocked by the the Supreme Court. The democrats did not challenge the results in any other states, not did they claim there was a systematic attempt to steal the election.

...or we'll know by midday wednesday that's going to be a Harris landslide.

Who's pulling an all-nighter? According to my inside sources the first results should be expected around midnight UK time tonight. Not really worth it for me as I get into the office at 1:30am anyway then will be at the computer all day so I'm going to risk going to bed as normal 8-9pm UK time then be prepared for a late one tomorrow.

Yeah I’m getting an early-ish night tonight then gonna wake up for around 4. Booked the day off work so I can give it my full attention like a loser and have CNN or whatever the network of choice this year is on in the background.

I'm going to see Nick Cave tonight, so I'll praise to the Wild God for a sweet outcome...although Trump has God on his side so might need some persuading. I won't be staying up, but I expect I will wake early, check my phone and then suddenly have to get up due to nausea and bowel movements.

Snap minus the nick cave bit
