I wouldn’t stress there yogs, chill, have another smoke ;), I just like your obtuse posts, a bit of lateral thinking, good for the soul :smoke:

Hello oneeye,

Aah, I see. I've had several smokes tonight, which has aided clarity. Well, for me, at least. I'm not so sure how clear this one's going to be perceived by those who aren't me, but it's definitely lateral;

no longer a kid but thanks :)

No, I didn't think that you really were. I was trying (but obviously failed) to try to give of an American 1950's black and white film to the statement - for reasons which elude me right now. Anyway, I tried to find some quote from such a film on Youtube, but couldn't find one. I did find this though, which I glad that I did; :)

Now then I'm not one to make excuses.... Just as whisty.... But I seem to be a little late shall we say.. Don't know how this happens but I seem to be 40 yes 40 days out on this one..

Now I could have lied and just put anything up but I thought you would like to know that I'm feeling a bit like a prat lol..

Onwards my friends only 511 days to go..

Not 551 which for some crazy idea I had it in my head was the right number today..

I will now try to get a cracker for today

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
