Had the auto refresh set at every 5 seconds though

Well you can press F5 several times faster than that so it was probably pointless. With multi hit software they mean people spamming with thousands of connections. If you are just refreshing one window with c4c or similar every 5 seconds then crack on

You could lower that refresh rate to 1 or 2 seconds and be fine I would imagine. But as MDS says I am wary of using any sort of software like that, not just because of the fear of being kicked out, but also because I believe in the fair system that is in place and don't want to hypocritical take advantage of it.

The thing is you can set the Auto Refresh on one browser while hitting F5 on the other (both made smaller so they fit on one screen) - so it does help I think.

And I thought I was right in thinking that it meant something more sophisticated than auto-refreshing every few seconds!  1,000s of times per second I can see they could tell that wasn't human!

True, but had 3 windows with auto-refresh and 1 I refreshed myself.

Quick question for anyone with experience in this.

I'm helping a friend and her Dad tonight in the coach resale (I've only ever got them in the normal sale)

I'm happy to whack their payments on my card should I get through, does anyone know if there are any issues with this? i.e my card against another registration?

Thanks in advance

Yep no problems with this with any of the times it has happened in our group in the past.

Also..I seem to have confused myself. I read that it was better to clear cache and cookies, and my friend also recommended private browsing. But this prevents all my autofill options from working. And I thought that was also recommended...?

I thought this too - to clear cache or not to clear cache?  I didn't last year but..
