Don't see much love on here for The Lumineers, I've wanted to see them since their debut album dropped, thought they would be a great Glasto band, after missing out on tickets for last 5 years, I was gutted when they played 2 years ago watched the set on Iplayer, it was a amazing singing along with my then 2 year old son, looking forward to seeing them at glasto new album is awesome.

Loved their first album, and saw them at Alexandra Palace a couple of years ago (post glasto set) and they were great... will be seeing them this year, clash permitting!

Yes! I love The Lumineers. I don't have tickets unfortunately (praying for a competition win haha) but they are right up there for me. Proper love them!

Don't care who they are clashing with, they are a must see, my glasto brother and myself have agreed. New album is awesome, been listening to the deluxe one on repeat, soo many good songs

Not listened to it enough yet, but on first listen a bit slower than the first... will give it another few goes before the festival tho!

They still have that thumping singalong vibe. 'Where the skies are blue' I can picture myself there already.

I'm not too sure, not seen them at Glasto before. Seen them in Edinburgh but I was with some extremely drunk friends and had to babysit them which totally ruined it so I 100% won't be missing this! Early evening will do nicely too xx

it looks an amazing set, everyone singing, the band look a bit taken back by the reaction of the crowd.

Brilliant, that's what it's all about. The wee moments that make your hair stand on end. X

Until I caught them 2013 Bonnaroo I thought they were just very cookie cutter pop in my headphones. After seeing them live I changed my tune they were fantastic. They played  a cover Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues that blew me away. My favorite song they played though was "Ain't Nobody's Problem" which I'll link a copy of that here.

Love that song, wish I heard them doing subterranean homesick blues! One of my favourites xx

Saw them at Ally Pally a few years ago and lucky enough to see them at Bush Hall recently, debuting some of the new album live. They put on a great fun show, and their encore of Subterranean Homesick Blues is brilliant. Will be seeing them again, clashes permitted.

I'm hoping for Other or up at The Park, with a small Williams Green perhaps?

Other I should have thought, I think they're too big for Park except maybe headlining which seems unlikely.

I too really want to see them this year, missed them back in 2013(?) because of a clash, caught the end and it looked great.

Really like the first album but not getting into the new one at all. Sounds like they could have knocked it up in a couple of weeks rather than the 3 years it has taken.

Very good in 2013 though so will still go along if not clashing.

They are headlining tons of stuff in the States. They have back to back nights of very sold out Red Rocks Amphitheater shows which in comparison only a few other people have sold out back to back Red Rocks this year (LCD Soundsystem, 21 Pilots). They are headlining Life is Beautiful fest along side Mumford and Sons. At least in the States they are a very big deal.

Oh yeah, that's sort of my point. They're definitely big enough to headline The Park, perhaps too big. Seem more like a Other third-down or Pyramid afternoon act to me, but I've always been a bad judge of line-up scheduling and the like.

Really excited to see them myself, loved their first album but to be honest I haven't really listened to the new one. Shall give it a listen over the coming weeks in preparation for seeing them!

    • Geese playing for 1:20 instead of just an hour was a lovely surprise. The energy was great!
    • Oh well that's why then, I assumed it was still the same. Thanks!
