Yeah if anyone's keen message the guy asap. 

Best one I've seen is in 2008 a gumtree ad for 10+ tickets for £150. Called the guy up and met at the bus station in Glastonbury town and 6 of us going in a slightly dodgy way. But this guy was doing it on an industrial scale and he had people traveling from the other side of the country to find out they were basically being snuck in, there was a lot off pissed off people but 99% of them still coughed up.

I found this for those of us who have said on here that if we don't get there this year we are turning our backs on it X  I guess it's quite a big thing when they are coming up with this to help ticketless people cope?

If I'm def not lucky in any of the remaining competitions I'm going away for the weekend to somewhere without a TV  i've unfollowed , and Glastonbury Festivals on Twitter for the time being.  I think I'm still signed up to the festival emails but may put a filter to send them straight to trash after a certain date and rescind it after July.  i'm not bitter or anything, I just can't bear it.

I've just got round to looking at the Shepton Mallet Journal competition which ends 11.59 tonight. We think the cup is on the flag in square C9.

T in the Park is miles away but you do get The Stone Roses so it's worth it

Maybe the competitions are closing to an end and we need to think of a more inventive way to get in. I think I'd look pretty good as Adele

If anything I think there should be more in the run up? To spark hype etc. But that may not be for a few weeks yet. I'd expect to still see a trickle of them coming through though. 

Going to start taking lessons from a contortionist in the hopes I can fit myself into some sort of equipment case to be smuggled in. I foresee no problems, I think it's the real solution we've all been looking for!

BBC are the obvious source of late competitions.

I've been set on not going this year for a while now, but that hasn't stopped me entering every single competition  (aside from the EE one, don't have Twitter...)

You've missed out on all the excitement there then! I've accepted the reality of not going of course, but yeah I'll continue to trawl for each and every competition-a miniscule chance is always better than no chance at all.

Just to let you all know if you're not aware, the Radio X competition is restricted to 1 entry per email address. So there is nothing to stop you entering multiple times so long as you use a different email address! 

The bad news is that I found this out after seeing the competition as a sponsored post on Facebook and reading the terms and conditions. So no doubt that will have picked up a lot more entrants.

I've always wondered if this would work, they don't (as far as I remember) wear wristbands, it's one of the more risky ways! My friends who were working as stewards for Oxfam heard that someone cycled in through VGA (it's a big hill) and far from trying to stop him people scattered to avoid being taken out!

Yeah the newspaper find the cup one had around 3000 entries and radio X have been really promoting their one so I'm reckoning upwards of 5000 entries. Chances are so slim.
