Is no news good news on the thatchers front?

i would have thought that at least 1 of the 12 winners would be on this thread...

I search on twitter every so often, and no one's claimed to have won a ticket or anything yet there. It is only just 5pm though, so people may only now be able to check emails/phones for notifications. Thatchers were quite clear that they would contact winners today though. 

I admire the optimism, but it's still really unlikely (hoping someone will have some good news to share though!)

I won the Thatchers comp last year and seem to remember that I got the call surprisingly late in the day, about 6pm I believe. Don't give up hope yet!

Thanks. They called then? Didn't email? It's just that I'm with Three and the mobile reception is terrible so I'm worried that if they try to call I won't get it.

Yes, they were very persistent, I missed it the first couple of times but eventually picked up, thank goodness!

Haha! It's a bit weird getting used to no doubt. But if you search for words/phrases/hashtags with the search function, it will just display all tweets containing the content of your search whether you follow or not, so I've been searching 'glastonbury won' or 'glastonbury ticket' and no one's mentioned winning any today. Useful for this sort of thing, or finding people selling things...or for starting arguments with people who hold different views on literally anything

Just had a quick look on Twitter and 25 minutes ago some guy said "might be going to Glastonbury" so maybe he won, he then goes on to say "Should probably see if there are any bands I like first"....Could be nothing to do with the Thatcher's. competition though

Sounds like someone crying for attention there, so I'd put my money on them being offered a ticket by someone he knows who has their fingers in a few pies, or similar

Grrr.  He doesn't deserve to go.  Obviously doesn't understand the Glasto experience.  It's not just about the bands!

*judging by the first bits of text in my viewer. I have not opened any of them to read any further so I might have the wrong end of the stick ( please don't ask where the other end is).

Really weird that there's been absolutely no one saying they've won the Thatchers competition anywhere. They specified today in the t&cs but I'm now assuming they'll be contacting people tomorrow instead, can't believe that out of 24 people who now have a ticket, none of them would post about it on twitter or something...

12 pairs if I recall correctly but that's 24 deliriously happy people although blokey what won the EE compo today doesn't seem that bothered going by his later tweets.  Maybe 'other' people just aren't that fussed about it?

Nah it's 12, but I would have thought most people (even those just having a punt with no idea about the fest) would have a pretty good idea of who they'd bring as their plus one.

I think they might be delaying calls. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one efester got a pair, but I'm not sure I'm counting on it, just because of how many entries they must get!

It's the 'other' people who I sort of expect to come out of the woodwork. In terms of social media and that I reckon Glastonbury is pretty high status and something people would wanna publicise. Alongside the fact that they won so it's free and that. 

The dude who won via EE doesn't seem to be much of a tweeter. Maybe none of these winners are either!

I saw that! Exactly the right response (and informs everyone else haha). I had all my tweets written in my head for 'when' I got secret sale tickets...jumping the gun, always the downfall
