It is a lovely hat. I bought it at Nostock but have yet to wear it around a festival. I didn't wear it at Nostock because I was keeping it special to wear at my wedding. I didn't wear it then either in the end. I've got to drill it in to my head that there's no point owning a hat if you're not going to wear it. Mind you I used to buy shoes purely because I liked the design and knowing that I'd never actually wear them.

In my case it'll be more of a bounce-gently-so-that-the-knees-don't-give-way girly squeal but other than that your description sounds perfect!

I was the same when i found out i got my ticket in the original sale, still couldn't belive it when i paid my balance
