tried looking at efests about 45 mins ago on 3G and it kept going to an app

first it did this (screen shot should be attached)

then it took you to an app (uber taxis I think)

even if you tried to cancel it

Ok on wifi

i am on an iPhone

Yeah, I haven't been able to get on via 3/4G at all today - and it was playing up all weekend. At one point it went across to a porn site, which is the first time it's done that (usually it's apps, games etc.) - now, as keen as I am to see a hot Swedish blonde rogered by a giant purple dildo, I'd rather it didn't flick to that while my wife is peering over my shoulder.

It does this all the time with me. Usually if I press back then try and reload the page it'll be alright, but every day I get taken to some gaming site or worse.

I've got an Xperia 3 on Android. eFests is one of the few sites I hardly ever visit using it for the above reasons, I always thought it was misdirecting me cos I have fat clumsy thumbs and I wasn't scrolling/tapping properly.

Wouldn't do this for me this time

sorry for the problems, again, peeps.

Can anyone tell me, when did this latest outbreak start?

Been happening on and off for me for ages, to the extent that I avoid eFests on my phone....but stuck at work I can get a bit thumb twiddly so risk a look. Last Thurs to Sunday it was being a PITA.

Thanks for the updates.

We're going for yet another set-up which should (hopefully) stop/lessen the issues, while also seeing what we might be able to do to live-detect any issues that might occur (tho how successful that might be we've yet to find out).

I'm really sorry for these problems, it's the very last thing I'd want to be happening and I'm doing my best to stop it.

So - this new site layout... first of all I quite like it overall.

BUT - I just clicked on a profile to see when someone had joined - and it list my name along with everybody else's name who has looked at the profile, and when they did it.

Not a big fan of that type of tracking personally....

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
