It's 120 years old mine. All the walls are miles out and nearly 10 feet high. Painting them is a nightmare.

Sounds familiar! Ours is 200 years old, and grade 2 listed. Took about 8 years of evenings and weekends, alongside working full time, to get it renovated. Now, a few years after finishing, several rooms need another facelift all over again!

Thanks for the advice folks, I think I'm just going to ride it out and try for my tickets along with as many friends and family as I can rope into it, I'm to cautious for my own good most probabaly with regard to handing over card details.

But anyways wish me luck! Hopefully the ticket gods are kind on Sunday.

Very merry did you get a ticket this evening ?

I did, well Matt did for me! It was for my best friend & her partner, only 4 of us going, as is normal, but it would not have been the same without them. I'm so excited now

Awesome -- feels so good doesn;t it. We normally go as a big group - around 10-12 and  extended friends probably 16-18 people but this year just 4 of us were lucky. Most have since dropped out of the running but 7 were desperate - 4 wanted coach and 3 normal entry tickets. 4 coach tickets nabbed yesterday so now just 3 to get on Sunday and its full house ... would have felt strange with just the 4 of us and not an extended meet up for bands/ciders crew ! First year we will campervan on our own as well, we normally have a little camp with 2 vans and tents as well ... oh well

So pleased for you

I was pissed off before last nights resale and came up trumps.

If I keep feeling like I do now it will mean a clean sweep on Sunday if the two are connected!

That is all.

Aw no, what's up? We definitely don't want you feeling crappy, even if it might correlate into ticket success...

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
