In fact one year the WBC kept some of the main bars open 24 hours at the weekend at Glastonbury but there was not as much demand as was expected and it was never repeated - it may work for small bars but large bars can only operate with a certain staffing level and the sales just did not stack up.

Sounds sensible. I find them a good way of spending the early part of the morning, it let's the rest of the site settle and you can then either head off for further adventures or decide to rest up for the following day. I had some good times in them last year.

The Temple is my favourite but the queues are absolutely horrendous. Pretty sure it's took about an hour getting in the times I've been

Are there toilets in places like temple and heaven hq? Queue for an hour, then have to leave if nature calls?

I generally don't remember I was too spangled. I don't think so, my friend who I was with desperately needed the toilet and kept going off to piss on the side of the stage/tent/area/bullring whatever you want to call it instead of using an actual toilet... fortunately he failed to piss everytime, I would of gave him a right bollocking otherwise.

There's toilets just outside The Temple I know that, so once you're near the front you could get your friends to mind your space while you relieve yourself before jumping back in the queue

Shangri La on the Thursday, before it gets too rammed.

Glasto Latino. I'm glad most people just go straight past it when entering the SE corner. Keeps the crowds down but they don't know what they're missing.

Spent about an hour on the Engine Room of the Greenpeace ship last year. Was pretty good but I wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer. It's a good one to check out if you're just wandering.

Green Fields for something more chilled.

I know The Crow's Nest has DJs until 3, anyone every been up there at night? I imagine it could be quite cool.

If you are looking for something different though, the sensation seekers acts has a whole range of very good cabaret style acts! Just next to the entrance to the SE Corner! I ended up spending a couple of hours there Saturday night. Ended with Wheel of Four Tunes, which was basically a few guys dressed up as power rangers, getting the audience to spin a wheel to decide what genre to DJ a few songs to.

A Little More Sensation was where I saw those fire acts, right next door to the Sensation Seekers. Can't believe I missed out on this though. Definately gonna try and catch it next year!

Last year I spent most of the time after the headliners just ambling about, saw some of the later acts in dance area and headed into Block 9, Shangri-la at about 2am most nights, crowds were never too bad

Same. Ambling about is the way forward. If you sort of amble towards the SE corner you can get there after the initial rush has died down.

We did lots of messing about, dance by a food van, stop at some bars, try on some clothes, chat to some people, definitely the way to do it

I may have seen that, I don't remember what was going on on stage but I remember seeing a guy in a morph suit/power ranger outfit shouting down the microphone "If any of you have any drugs, now's the fucking time to take them!" and then playing Smack My Bitch Up...

Yeah that sounds about right! Was strangely good fun!

Maybe thats the one I'm on about? It did have fire acts as well at points, its literally to the right of the SE entrance anyway! (As now I think about Senesation Seekers is the other end of the field?) Its just small stage at any rate!

Nahhh A Little More Sensation is right at the corner of that field, just a tiny little riser stage. Sensation Seekers is quite big in comparision and definately had wheel of four tunes on it cause I had a quick scan of the old line up today.

I work one of the weekend nights for FMS but the rest of the time I love the Thursday night silent disco. We then tend to wonder around rest of the weekend and last year went to the brilliant Northern Soul night in Williams green and we love the little bar/ tent opposite there that plays great old disco music.
