Can't see it unfortunately. Think its just that hes been playing well under Rafa. Better than last season anyway. Hes the new Sneijder!

yeah, cos there's a new manager who supposedly isn't too keen on Bale.

Yeah there's always a reason why Man United are 'on alert'; Bale's agent said something, Ronaldo didn't hug him after scoring a goal, he's struggling to learn Spanish, Real have a new president, Zidane doesn't like him. etc.

The truth is that due to the nature of the those involved (Real are always on the verge of selling superstars to bring in the next one, Man United are currently looking to throw money at an unwanted superstars, Bale and his agent have shown they are happy to play the game to engineer a positive situation) it's an entirely plausible outcome and the media know that, hence every little thing regarding Bale is a reason to churn out the same old stories again and again safe in the knowledge that at some point they'll be accurate (cue the WE TOLD YOU SO stories).

This may be that time, it may not, but I wouldn't suggest that a new wave of 'rumours' being 'reported' mean any more than the last lot.

Usually theres truth in about 1% of these rumours. Remember Neymar to Utd last year?

Widely reported. As much as it would obviously be incredible I still had to laugh.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Neymar wants to get out of Spain tho, before he ends up in court as Messi has... the only problem with that, tho, is that it'd probably be cheaper for him to pay up any tax that might be due than pay UK tax rates.

Money aside, and it pains me to say it, but why would either want to leave Barca or Madrid and go to Utd at the moment? Or the Premiership at all actually. Its in bad shape presently.

It's not in a bad shape at all, even if it were I doubt if the money and European qualification were there a superstar player would give a shit about the state of the domestic league. If they've been playing for Barcelona or Real then they've experienced a major domestic league at it's worst. Although from a player's perspective guaranteed European competition and several games a year to run up the goal tally would be pretty appealing, but if that's a league in good shape then give me our one any day.

there's constant rumours Neymar wants out, so i'm guessing he's not happy being overshadowed by Messi.

Tim Vickerys take is that Barcelona was the perfect move for Neymar as it allowed him to adapt without the pressure of being the main man. However he will probably now want to be the big cheese somewhere and compete for player awards which messi and Ronaldo mop up at present.

Assuming Madrid aren't an option then there aren't many teams who could finance a deal and man Utd are one of those few.

Neymar is 23, is playing in the best front 3 in living memory, is one of the most marketable athletes in the world, has scored 14 in 15 league games this season, is going to finish only behind Messi and Ronaldo in the Ballon d'Or (which he'll win soon), is just about to sign a new long term deal for £300k a week (tax free!) with a £400m buy out clause and is well on his way to being Brazils top scorer ever.

But hes going to pack it in at Barca to go and join Utd why?

oooh, yeah. Might be I suppose.

Tho Wenger doesn't strike me as the sort of geezer who would, right now, have already made a decision to leave the end of the end of the season (unless perhaps his missus has got at him). I reckon if/when he makes that decision it'll be done very quickly.... tho if Arsenal win the league this year, I wouldn't be too surprised if he decided to quit as it sort of takes things full-circle with him having managed the club thru the stadium move.

Also, those words of Pep's read to me as "not London", tho perhaps that's me reading too much into the "experience a new city" bit.
