Techno at Glasto?

Hello!

Going to Glasto for the first time this year, and was interested in knowing where's the best place to head after hours for harder techno or trance music?

Stuff along the lines of Perc, Clark and Andy Stott in the main, though I'll also be checking out Mumdance and The Bug at Wow! if I can.

Cheers!

You want Friday night/Saturday morning in the Temple in the Common until about 5am. They've got Dave The Drummer amongst others. Stupidly that also clashes with Arcadia as said. You really should go to the Temple, it's a bullring with a really good atmosphere in the naughty corner.

Then you’ve also got Eat Static live. That’s hard ‘free party’-type acidic trance. Highly recommended. They are in The Glade on Friday night (after The Freestylers who are very good – live breaks). Eat Static are also the special guest who are closing the Rabbit Hole (sounds like a euphemism) on Monday morning.

Also, if you like progressive house, there’s a quite a lot to see, again in the Glade, including Way Out West (Nick Warren and Jody) DJing on Saturday evening.

I’ll shut up now.

Few techno highlights i'm hoping to catch a few -

Dense & Pika (Genosys)

Jon Rundell (Glade)

Nicole Moudaber (The Blues)

Dave the drummer

DJ Pierre (NYC Downlow)

Skream is also playing a lot more techno these days so his Arcadia set should be good.

Maceo Plex, Pan Pot, Beyer

Neil Landstrum, Jerome Hill, Dax J and Dave the drummer on Friday is just what you're looking for pal. Robert Hood is always a winner too. Not really a great amount this year which I think could be as Awakenings is also on the same weekend. Would've loved to have been at Glastonbury for Blawan 2 years ago!

Getting butterflies reading these posts !

- need a real bass fix for at least an hour of the weekend :beach:xD:banghead:

Going to do this one day. That place looks quality!

Done it a few times. You would love it. I went to Drumcode last year, Carl Cox the year before. Techno wise, you can't touch awakenings events and at Gashouder it is extra special.

    • Considering how popular of a booking Scooter have been I think they'd go down well
    • I mean I think unless you are camped in a particular bit which apparently you just get no sleep i feel it would be better setup to travel in from a hotel each day and back. Ah there is so many downfalls to it for me, I think the Download main stage area is so much better and that's coming from me. If you're camped in green to go round all the time and out for lidl and even water is stupid!
