they have enough old and new proper tunes to be subbing pyramid or, headlining other stage, or jp any night for me?? seems a strange call... ill be there loving it, and well on the way cos its a full on friday that i can't wait for but still ..?

The Cribs used to be one of my favourite bands when I was 16/17 but come on, Pyramid sub? I will definitely be watching them but not as miffed about their position as you seem to be. If I was to guess before the lineup was announced I'd have gone for 5pm on the John Peel.

Subbing pyramid bit strong. I do agree it's a odd placement for them. I wonder how crowded it will be?

I would have said the Williams green launch on the Thursday the reason I think not is they are 2nd on other stage

No way are they a Pyramid sub/Other headliner. I'd have placed them as 3rd or 4th down Other, or headlining JP, but that post-secret set slot on the Friday seems to always go to a band who are bigger than that slot.

yeah they have some great tunes! and are still bringing new material out... they have same problem as lots off bands... radio 1 outcasts! same as the courteeners imo ! i prefer that way

Hope they play I've Tried Everything. Or anything off Men's Needs album really! Can picture a nice sunny Friday with a buzzing atmosphere with these boys on, and being amazed that it's only Friday and just 'really' gettinf started after two days of pure madness already.
