I did Green Man in 2012. Beautiful setting, but poor line-up apart from Alt-J. Very small, I think we did the whole of it in an hour! Lovely walks by the river but a disappointing festival, and an absolute nightmare to get off the car park after rain. Every car stuck and no help in sight. Won't be going again

This page provides me with the hope that I need.  Hope almost faded away until the page's reappearance late yesterday.

We can only raise a measly 73 participants even, today! It's just not trendy here anymore

They contacted the winner within 3 working days of the competition ending. They probably won't make a public announcement until they've finished tweaking the design etc.

Thing that annoys me most is that they wont just officially announce all tickets are gone, (as i most likely). Has to be some sort of endurance torture spectacle organise by SeeTickets, who monitor this page and laugh as we slowly deteriorate into madness with every passing day.

Getting a bit desperate now... My only hope is the fact that another resale hasn't been ruled out as they have in previous years.

Don't suppose anyone knows if the National Express competition winner has been announced?

Found this forum/thread last night after discovering the weird resale thing on Thursday (was fully expecting it to be 3pm yesterday after last years timings) and thought I'd say hi! 

This is the first time we've not managed to get tickets and still hoping that we can get hold of 3. 

It's nice to know that there are other people out there who are still hopeful and obsessively hitting F5!

They never really 'announce' them, more contact the winner via phone or e-mail. They don't usually publically share details unless it was a competition ran on a social media platform. It would have probably said in the terms and conditions something like 'Winners name and country can be obtained by sending a self addressed envelope to ..... after a certain date'
