Good idea, anyone else care to share on Twitter? I'm not even sure how to and my three followers probably won't be impressed anyway.

I lost my camera last year and reported it to Lost Property. Two weeks after the festival it arrived in the post with a little note from GFL. Restored my faith in human nature. Now I always make sure the first photo on my camera is of a sheet of paper with: "If found please return to....." and my address.

It's just those touches that make me love the place more.

I was at the lock ups once when two people handed in a wallet full of cash that they'd found to the people manning the lock up. Initially the people on the lock up said that they should take it to lost property. The two people then said that they couldn't do that as they'd already rung the father of the owner (having got his number from the wallet) and told him that they'd drop his sons wallet in to that particular lock up. That really cheered me up seeing that.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
