So... How were the Tipis last year?

the toilets are only as "good" as the people who use them.

and the toffs in the tipis are no better than the serfs in the normal camping areas.

Haha, I don't think it's toffs who get them to be honest!

We're a bunch of geordies getting ours and far far from being toffs, lol

What a strange thing to say. Even accounting for your inverse snobbery, that's an oddity.

Sadly I haven't found anyone with whom to share a tipi so I'll be as I was last year, hoping for a good pitch.

I would offer, but we are a group of girls and I don't think they'd take kindly to me inviting a random stranger into our tipi (assuming I get one of course)

Ah, thanks. I totally understand that position. Sharing sleeping space with an 'unknown' is a big ask. All I can do is promise I won't have my collection of knives with me and my ritual sacrifices don't extend to that particular weekend, plus I guarantee I wouldn't watch anyone sleeping.

YOU'D ALL BE SAFE.

Let me know if you change your mind...

Haha, who says we'll be sleeping?!?!

I certainly don't intend on much.

I will ask (again, if I'm lucky enough tomorrow morning) but I can't guarantee. 2 people are newbies to glasto and don't really get how friendly most are there you see (they're used to creamfields)

I was in straight away at 0900, by the time I completed payment three minutes later it told me that while I had been paying they sold out.

That's my least favourite thing about the Glastonbury ticket system, stuff in your basket isn't safe.

Does seem that demand was unusually astronomical this year. I'd definitely be trying to get on any sort of waiting list that they have.

Not surprising considering how far away a lot of people were in the camper fields last year. 25 minute walk to the pedestrian gate in some case. Like mine!

Got a camper pass. Have the van booked already. Hoping two others in our group get resale tickets.

I'd tent it as I have loads of times before or get a tipi as I like being on site but the missus wouldn't. She likes the comfort!
